Ordered one of the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo lease deals for my missus - advert stated a March 2021 plate at the time of order (end of Jan) , and have signed the order based on the advert however the lease company have been in touch and said the car will be delivered this Wednesday which is of course still February 2021, and I presume as such won't be on the new plate.
If it was my own car I was buying I'd be bothered as it may affect resale in future, but thoughts with it being a lease?
Thanks

I can't imagine why this would ever bother you with a lease, unless you're trying to impress your neighbours...If it was my own car I was buying I'd be bothered as it may affect resale in future, but thoughts with it being a lease?
Thanks

Surely you signed a contract that included a delivery date? If it was my own car I was buying I'd be bothered as it may affect resale in future, but thoughts with it being a lease?

Anyway...does early delivery create issues for you eg insurance, drive way space etc. If so ask them to delay delivery.
Not sure what your issue is re the plate. It’s a lease.

They seem to have good reviews on Feefo, Google and TrustPilot. In my experience, they have been just fine.

Been given a good quote for an Audi A3 with pink car leasing has anyone used them before ?
Might well be worth looking on leasing.com and what car leasing to try and find an audi dealer that will offer you that same car and match the price offered by Pink Leasing. At least that way you will be under VWFS and end of lease charges are really quite fair, all handled via BCA.Gazzab said:

I disagree - whether its a lease or a purchase or whatnot its still the car I drive every day. If I am paying good money and ordered the car as it was advertised or promised to be on the new plate then I would expect to get it.PenelopaPitstop said:

The inspection was done last week, and threw up everything I expected (3x diamond-cut wheel refurbs and a scratch on the bumper). Repair quotes were reasonable too - all were cheaper than I'd been quoted elsewhere.
I think it was about how high the fees were for actual damage.

It's a brand new car that you lease. Registration plate is irrelevant. Edited by PenelopaPitstop on Monday 15th February 12:02

That's really interesting. My charges were 109 per wheel and 180 for the bumper (~£500 in total), both of which were cheaper than I could get them done for locally (with the added bonus of not having to bother getting them done in lockdown etc.).
That seems quite reasonable to me, but maybe my barometer of reasonable-ness is off?

What car are you returning?

Lol - not to me it isn't Penelopa - I love having the brand new plate every couple of years :-)I even handed back my last car early as (amongst other reasons to be fair) it meant my new change month would be March going forward!

In my case, dealers seem to care more than I do. My first lease car was delivered to me on 31 August, so I could start driving it from next day. Had to sign papers I won't drive it before reg date. I even handed back my last car early as (amongst other reasons to be fair) it meant my new change month would be March going forward!
Current dealer also mentioned couple of times, that my car will arrive in March for new plate.
