I’ve got a text from VWFS today with a link to BCA asking me to arrange collection. Anyone else get this?

Unable to book as you cannot select any dates. Very helpful. No one to call and speak to. Anyone got an email address that’s in use?

I haven't no, but the BCA portal appears to be back up now as opposed to the closed message, yet when I enter my details it says it cant process the request and to ring a number.

Ring the number go through the options to be told they still aren't arranging collections, so yeah, the st show continues.

Have you been able to book?!

I did. But my collection still shows as booked in for 14th April. Can only view it.

My contract expires on 28th, but got 2 conflicting emails from fleet.admin@vwfs so far
1. that I should not insure the vehicle after expiry date
2. the other that I should insure until collected

Car now parked on the road outside, my insurance cancelled from Midnight last night. AskMID showing as insured, will check again in a few days.

Nothing from VW on collection.

So I get to the screen to select a date for collection but can’t actually select a date frown

The BCA booking portal just worked for me and I managed to submit a booking for next week. Chances of this going ahead so quickly seem slim but I have just had a confirmation email as well. At least I am in the queue...

How did you manage to select a date? I’ve tried on a PC and MacBook. Safari and Chrome, nothing works.

Anyone got a link to the portal? I haven’t received a text but would be interested to see if I am eligible to book the car in for collection.

Same here. Got a text message to rebook but online portal doesn't allow me to select a date.

Does it make a difference if people use this link instead (if not already)? http://bookingportal.bca.com/BCA_Portal

I note the one someone has posted above is VWFS specific.

How weird. I wonder if it's an error that I can book anything then as it does seem a bit unlikely slots would be available next week given the backlog. That or they really, really want SEAT Leons back...

I’m still waiting for an email response. I was sent one to verify my details, frustrating as between them replying and now it’s been 3 weeks since my first email

Just got this from BCA:

“Good afternoon,

Thank you for email.

First of all, I am sorry that you have experienced this. It has been established that we are currently experiencing a technical difficulty with the booking portal. Please rest assured this matter is currently being looked into at the highest priority.

Once a fix has been put into place, you will receive further communication via text with the link to our portal.

Once again, please accept my apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you.

Are you entering the zeros at the start of your agreement number? In contrast to the advice when you hover over the ?, it only worked for me when I didn't enter the leading zeros.

Legend. The question mark didn’t come up on my phone.

Now logged into laptop, didn’t use the preceding 0’s, and I got in successfully with the portal showing the correct contract end date; happy days!

However, the calendar is greyed out for me also.

No problem. I had the same frustration previously.

I was able to log in and book a collection for next week. In guessing it may depend on their availability in certain areas. Like others though, I am still doubtful if it will actually happen. Will try to call them tomorrow to clarify.
