Is the Kodiaq deal posted earlier not better value?
SKODA KODIAQ ESTATE 1.5 TSI SE Drive 5dr DSG [7 Seat].
Business grey (Metallic)
3+23, 10k miles
Initial: £956.45
Monthly: £318.82
Arrangement: £210
P11d: £30,850
Cheaper car so cheaper lease but less good value by the looks of things. Also a puny engine for that size of car IMO.SKODA KODIAQ ESTATE 1.5 TSI SE Drive 5dr DSG [7 Seat].

Can people stop banging on about golf r deals from 5 years ago 🤣 Golf r’s are terrible anyway if you’re over 25! New 4 series is looking nice and very polarising reviews hopefully be some good deals on them when they launch. Was some good deals on the e300 premium plus coupes but they seem to have passed too :/

IMO they are awful! Sure they’re really quick but they look terrible, the interior dated and generally give off a boy racer vibe.
They aren’t that quick. They look like a golf. The interior is fine. And my grey estate 7.5 doesn’t look like a boy racer car. It’s a nice £220 a month bargain. fastraxx said:

Do you know who the funder is? Surprised he didn't know the ppm for the mileage, has anyone actually had this confirmed yet?
Hi, how did this progress as I am interested in similarThe funder is ADL and excess mileage is 15ppm without maintenance and 18ppm with.

thanks for that, I too heard 15p - wasnt aware higher with maintenance, other than tenner a month extra rentSince it is really obvious most / all leases charge double this if you elect for hi mileage up front....is it permissible to elect for a 5k mls package knowing u will drive 10k +
What is relevance of who the funder is?

Cheaper here.... Saw it earlier and went back to find it for you.

£305 on the same terms, 295 on 12 + 35 and 5k (this is a petrol)
Thanks a bunch - looking at the “4” trim level however (“2” has cloth seats and no climate control among other things)https://www.carleasingmadesimple.com/car-leasing/k...

Going to have a look at that website though! Thanks for going back to find it for me!

Different funders have different rules during the lease and at the end. Some will allow repricing during the lease based on mileage change, decent extensions, discount on early termination, possibility to buy car, low charges for damage. In my opinion, the most flexible and lenient at the end is VFWS.
If maintenance is chosen, excess miles are always more expensive than without maintenance.
Nothing is stopping you to choose lower miles upfront and then pay excess at the end. Just make sure your calculation is correct. Some contracts have tiers for excess miles.

I’ve had the following quotes for a new A3
Audi A3 Sportback 35 TFSI Edition 1 S-Tronic Comfort & Sound Pack
8k miles
Optional Extras:
Audi Phone box with Wireless Charging
Special solid paint - Turbo blue
6+23 = £301 (26%)
6+35 = £292 (23.8%)
Seems an ok deal?
Last car was an M140i, so the 35 engine is a bit of a concern.

Not bad, however, like you the 35 engine put me off as believe that’s 150hp? I did spot an S-Line deal somewhere for c. £250 on a 3+23 basis, albeit 5k miles. Audi A3 Sportback 35 TFSI Edition 1 S-Tronic Comfort & Sound Pack

The Edition 1 is the sweet spot of the range two, really feels like a class above inside with all those toys and the seats are very nice. Southlegend, you should option the flat bottom steering wheel if its not standard if you can, its fantastic.

Apologies for the Uber lurking but I’m back sniffing for ideas to replace a stupidly cheap Volvo S60 that I picked up late last year with my bank, Santander.
The Audi A3 deals being posted look reasonable in the current climate although I might be a bit ahead of myself, depending on lead times. The car might not be first choice but it’s the size of car I should be driving, the Volvo’s nice but too big really.
Anyway, I found this on LeaseLoco, with the Processing Fee I believe it works out just over 25% of P11D - am I missing anything about spec that you really ‘need’ other than maybe colour, before I make an enquiry?

Any thoughts appreciated.

The car’s got everything you really need in that trim level, really. Nice options include Comfort and Sound pack (Bang & Olufsen sound system among other things including park assist with surround view (IIRC) and heated seats ) and the flat bottom steering wheel but nothing is really needed if it drives the cost up too much. But the C&S pack is worth considering, you will want for nothing in the car once you have that option. The Audi A3 deals being posted look reasonable in the current climate although I might be a bit ahead of myself, depending on lead times. Upgrading to Edition 1 trim from S Line adds the larger “full” virtual cockpit display, supersport seats in half Nappa leather and Alcantara instead of half twin leather (artificial) and cloth, along with a nappa flat bottomed steering wheel and full ambient lighting. On the outside, darkened dynamic MatrixLED headlights with signature DRL and LED taillights with dynamic indicators, bigger wheels, and black trim instead of chrome.
If you’re on a short term lease or low miles, I wouldn’t bother unless the cost difference was little. C&S pack on S Line trim makes better sense to me than Edition 1 with no options (if the first is cheaper)
