Ours is up in September too and as you say, it was a bit of a super deal so hard to replicate.
We'll make do with our other lease (Alfa Giulia Veloce) for now, as neither are getting any miles on them in this lockdown anyway.
Think mine is up in Jan, I went from the golf r to the V90 CC like a few on here. Been looking for a while for a replacement but nothing come up. Only seem to be deals on Audi at the moment, I would love something to combine the comfort and quality of the Volvo with the pace of the golf. So if anyone sees a V60 polestar for £250 a month let me know........We'll make do with our other lease (Alfa Giulia Veloce) for now, as neither are getting any miles on them in this lockdown anyway.

My V90 goes back in October I'll probably take the 3 month extension if nothing pops up. There's an XC90 T8 knocking about still which in percentage terms is good but it's a 75k car so the profile is meaty....a311 said:

I took the T8 back in June and changed the profile to 1 + 23. The amortised cost didn’t really change much. Car is awesome BTW.
What was the deal you got? May need to pick your brain I could be easily talked into it. Run on elec for local runs then bit of power and comfort for a longer trip.I've asked for a quote.
I came across this, at first glance maybe not the cheapest deal but for petrolheads this is the 45 quattro 0-60 in 6, sport version has decent leather seats as standard, works out 24percent over 2 years but limited to 5kpa

I need to go sub 5 to 60 for my replacement.

The last 5 pages have basically been an argument and a slating of the A5...
Are there and of the "best lease deals available" around to talk about at the moment?
What about with factoring in the 3 months free Audi is offering. Has anyone tried to see about this on a lease?
Seems to be a few low number deals about from time to time. I got a 330d MSport Pro Touring for £295 9+23 for 5k miles. That’s just under 20% P11D - was only a handful of stock cars and I got the last of them. You have to be quick and be able to move immediately (and do the leg work to find these things - these didn’t seem to be mentioned much on here for example). Just taken delivery of a Kia Xceed on a 9+23 £105.
The car is much better than I was expecting it to be. Style inside and out is decent for the segment it's in.
Ride and handling all OK.
Nice infotainment system. Decent options too, such as lane assist and reversing camera.
It'll do nicely for the next 2 years I hope.

What makes you say that? I've inquired about one of the deals with them so would like to know what it's like and how you've found it!
Having driven a 2018 for two years, I love it! A 40 TFSI. Love the way it rides low, about an inch, than an A4, giving the feel of a sports car with the practicality of a family hatch. I haven't driven an A6 but sitting in one (despite being used to standard height cars) it felt far higher than an A5.

I can accept that different people may have different views about the A5, but feels like a sports car?!? You need to try a real sports car. The A5 is nothing at all like a sports car, indeed it’s not even sporty. I haven't driven an A6 but sitting in one (despite being used to standard height cars) it felt far higher than an A5.

Haha! If you read my post and didnt splutter on the word "feel" you'd have extracted the ride height felt like a sports car, lowwwwwww! Hahaha ! Okay, everyone - as you were! ;-)

just out of interest how do you find the cupra coming from the S5? I've sent back the 2018 S4 and b been contemplating a Cupra, how much did you get it for?
I got a Cupra Lux last April, £335 a month on 1+23 15000 a year. It's better to drive in terms of chucking it about but pretty much everything else the S5 was better for. Even fuel economy really. S5 was about £200 more a month though with that mileage so...

But it isn’t low? And the chairs have you sitting on the car rather than in it? Have you even been in an A5?Okay, everyone - as you were! ;-)

Why is there so much surprise that a s4 or s5 is better to drive than a diesel equivalent.
No surprise it is better, it's how much better that surprised me. Given the S models aren't given that special a treatment (in comparison to the RS models) it was surprising to me, I was expecting similar handling, steering etc. but with different drivetrain not a completely different driving experience.HMG1K said:

I’m still working from home 5 days a week for the foreseeable future so the car (paying off loan) is barely getting used at all.
Not sure if I should take the plunge on a new lease deal now with significantly less miles or wait until say January when I know I’ll be using the car a lot more but still less than before Covid...

Nothing in the A5 gives the feel of a sportscar. Awful thing. The debate is important though. This thread is about 'best lease' etc. There is nothing "best' about the A5 even at the deeply discounted lease prices IMO.
Oh dear, did it not not respond precisely the way you wanted when you gave it a "dab of oppo"?There's nothing wrong with the A5. Looks great, nice car. Could do with a full BEV option. Current lease prices represent pretty good value considering the way the market is at the moment.
