Wonder if this is all or if some are from stock as they are standard, no option vehicles. Shall have to do some chasing.

Thanks for the heads up!

You would be surprised how little gets done on a service.
You’re not wrong there!! My old BMW went in as was flashing up 7 warning lights, got it recovered, went to a main dealer for them to say needed 2 nee tyres and balancing £800!! (2 series grab tourer) I said no thanks; for it booked in at local supplier all done for £380.
I asked them to check for any major faults which could be dangerous with steering snd wheels suspension etc. Said they had done it and no other problems whatsoever safe to drive: took it to said tyre supplier who told me the joints were all loose and severely dangerous and on verge of snapping!! ….. I no longer trust main dealers to do any proper job whatsoever! No longer will they get my servicing and safety checks again!
Specialists independants only from now on:

When I had one of those absurdly cheap V90CCs from them they were really good to deal with. Had a dedicated guy to answer any queries and keep me updated.

I was asked to nominate a dealer and the car came direct from the dealer with 'normal' dealer plates on. There was no difference in my eyes between being an owner or a lessee.
Me too, plus unexpectedly the dealer treated me like royalty when I dropped in to arrange collection

Previous lease cars have felt like white goods, which is fine as I'm in no doubt who's actually paying for the posh coffee machines in the showrooms

And Santander were great, the legendary Volvo deals feel like a long time ago......

Quite irresponsible especially if unsuspecting passengers are being driven around by such in a potential death trap.
FFS calm down man. No car is going to turn into a death trap just because the local dealer hasn't changed the oil and filters on a <3yr old car - which is what basically happens on a service these days.

(Not that I'm advocating missing our services - it's just that to suggest the above "death trap" scenario is just silly)
And it’s not rather naive of you to think that a service is just oil change ? I’m quite sure they give the brakes a quick once over as well !? Guess what they prevent !!

A crash !! FFS

I'll let you into a secret, most main dealership franchises do filter, oil and a quick visual check whilst the car is on the ramp dropping the oil.

Ours was ordered in May, was a June Build. Just been put back to October build (maybe). Be prepared for a long wait if ordering now.
Similar.
Ordered start of June and currently showing build week 39.
(Start of October).
Could be a while.
Decent deal though. Not the £350 a month like my 2016 Touareg but hey, those days seem long gone.
1+35. 10k. £575
Leap leasing. Never used before but so far so good and price matched Central.

Where did you hear this? Had my spec through today approximating 18...
hollie from listers,

Unfortunately, I do have to report as of yesterday VW revealed these are now on a 32 week lead time unfortunately
Same from Lookers, was 16 weeks when we ordered on Monday....32 weeks now.

There goes the idea of handing back the Evoque before the big service biglaugh

They did mention it could come in but let's see.

yep just had email off them..

t has been brought to light this week by VW that probably more due to the influx of new orders as the deal is so good, but also due to the semi-conductor shortage in the industry that these vehicles will now be on a 32 week lead time.

I attach a letter officially signed by VW for the reasoning behind the delays.

The vehicles, I assume will now be arriving in March. But we should know more come the end of the year, when I am hoping VW will see a light at the end of a tunnel and begin a more ‘normal’ building sequence after coming out the other side of Covid too.

in two minds where to lock the deal in as a back up and hope something comes along soon then can cancel the tiguan or just get a run around until something pops up.

That's not bad given the current lack of deals.

on exact amount of time you get upto before you can cancel I'm not sure.

I just asked if I would be able to go through with the finance and if could cancel hassle free if something comes before then and hollie replied with yes that's no problem.

Best deal for AWD all electric (if at all)?!
Won't help now as the deal is dead but I got a polestar 2 in March which I ordered in November for £480 a month with no deposit, 10k a year including insurance, servicing, tyres and wall charger etc. Deal was originally with arval but is long gone just showing that they are out there

Hi All

I'm after a diesel Golf GTD or Audi 35 TDI (C&S Pack) Auto, but both are incredibly expensive, so I'm about to sign on the following instead:

A3 - S Line - 35 TFSI Auto - C&S Pack - Daytona Grey
2 Years
273.31 x 23, 1 x 2459 = £8,700ish over 2 years.

Before I do, I wanted to check if anyone had seen a better price for this?

I chased the GTD deal on leaseloco (3 years, 10k miles) but they are stock cars coming through and I'm after a car with rear camera.

Thanks in advance.
Hi mate, I've been looking for exactly the same spec car and was wondering where you managed to find your deal as it trumps anything I've seen so far.

Could anyone else in the forum potentially have any idea where this might be from or similar deals.

I see Volvo are offering lease “deals” directly on Volvo Care.

Persuade me that this is the worst idea ever!

https://s.volvocars.com/d5FphpnteeKfVyba

All-electric Volvo XC40 Recharge Twin Motor AWD (0-60s in 4.7s and range 208 miles/418km on single charge. Fast charging capable). Premium metallic paintwork and Nappa leather interior can be added no additional cost.

Total price per month £619/month inc VAT for 36 months for 6,000 miles per year. However only 0.2pence per additional miles. Someone doing 12,000 miles per year (ie 18,000 more miles over the 3 years) would pay an extra £360 at the end of the lease.

No up front payment

Includes Service and Maintenance, Wear and Tear (inc tyres) and Road Tax.

This is a terrible deal on the whole when seeing what else you can get for this price and over £600 a month for a Volvo XC40, but a decent one for electric AWD at the same time

Thoughts?!
