Just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all the help and advice with my first lease. I always wanted to try leasing on a premium car, something I couldn't / wouldn't buy outright and bagged myself one of the mega cheap Volvo S60s from Santander back in December 2019 (it was actually a cancelled order from someone on here). Unfortunately I didn't drive it much due to lockdown and WFH but overall the experience has been great and I would definitely do it again if / when I get back into the office.

Car was picked up yesterday, as it's not been used much (6000 miles in 21 months) it was immaculate aside from a couple of kerbed alloys which once was processed by the guy ended up not being charged for which was a result. The guy told me "that's what happens when you make me a cuppa" smile

My plan was to keep leasing and sell my private car but I ended up keeping it (SORNd on my drive) so I'm now back in that. Looking at the deals and prices of used cars I'm glad I did ...

Thanks again

So it does. I just got the email in and it seemed cheaper than what I've seen lately.

I've been quoted £269p/m inc VAT on 6+35 deal (so £1616 up front).

That's for 6k miles PA for the Excel trim plus panoramic roof. They've also chucked in metallic paint at £2.50p/m too included in the quote above.

Looks like very good value for money to me.

It now seems to be a straight shootout between this or the V60 Momentum from Santander at £295p/m 1+35 based on 6k miles PA (including Apple Carplay prep).

I'm stuggling to decide which would be the better car to be honest!

Luke.

It's from WhatCar.com - search for Rav4 on their leasing site and you'll find a bunch of them at different prices/trim levels. The dealer is Arnold Clark.

Is 3+35 5k at £454.52 a good deal on a 520d Pro Pack? It's in stock, but I'm not sure how long the dealer will hold onto it for.

Cheapest on Leasing.com is around £515pm on the same profile. I just can't tell if it's a good deal as it's much more than cars used to be!

My 6 month Arteon extension is up in January, so been trying to sort something. I’m faffing around with ALD trying to get a lease on a Formentor sorted. Only other thing I’ve seen is the Cupra Leon deal someone posted just a couple of posts up. If the Formentor falls through I’m probably going to go with that.
Do you mind me asking what Formentor deal you have lined up and what spec?
Sorry haven’t been back in the thread for a number of days.

204 ehybrid V2 1+35 6k per year for £373 a month. That includes metallic paint. Intelligent car leasing is the broker (£250 fee) but the finance is ALD and it’s taken about 2”3 weeks to get the finance approved for some unknown reason!

I was tempted but the V60 and RAV4 deals looked better value. I’m sure the Karoq would be a decent car though.

Seems poor to me.

RE V60 or RAV4, I'd go V60 all day long, but then I'm a sucker for an estate.

I was in the same dilemma but just placed an order for the V60 for March delivery when my Cupra goes back. I had a V90 before the Cupra which I loved. My only concern is the spec of this V60 is far below what I had on the V90, but needs must at the moment!

Oh Christ are lead times now March for the V60?! That’d rule it out completely if so!

Appreciate the reply. 👍🏼

The best I could find was 1 x 48 10k per year for £376 a month with express car leasing.
But that was with standard white. Took the deal to my local Seat dealer and he came back with £393 but I think there may be room for a bit of negotiation on that. He also said metallic paint could be negotiated as the residual value would be greater than without.
Drove the 245 version and it ticked all the boxes so I’m hoping the 204 doesn’t feel underpowered in comparison!

Put my papers in with Central leasing within 30 mins of the offer, was told there were 30 cars.

Not heard anything back from them however.

Learnt my lesson there - I do the forms then go review! Figure can always cancel the forms!

Still, if they don't come back to be, might do the v60 Santander deal.
