Crikey that is one horrific looking thing yuck
My thoughts exactly!!
It's not a looker, but it's a family bus with reclining captain seats in the back - pretty good deal!

Probably a good price for one of them, but I believe the lotus electric SUV’s were around this price point a few months ago and they had bigger battery’s, more power and even more “special”

Also I don’t know why BMW does this, but none of their decent lease deals are available as personal. Like if I’m happy with the price inc the VAT let me order the damn thing.
BMW were leasing iXs for less than this last year. The prices were about 15% cheaper and came with a free chargepoint. So this isn't that great a deal really.

Same here, I have wondered for a while and I'm happy to pay the VAT.

that reminds me of the car Homer Simpson designed that ruined his long lost brothers car business

but the BMW electric platform is pretty stable and Lotus is yet to be known, also 'a few months ago' isn't now.

if id not FTK on the merc EQE i'd have been on this; the 1+35 looks reasonably good value for sensible miles too

Nope not yet, but the current Buzz Cargo deal, which is pretty much identical, suggests that VW aren't looking to renege on it. Why would VW contact us directly if they were going to cancel - why not just tell the broker to do it?

I think the non van Buzz's are still dealt with by VW Commercial and perhaps the supplying dealer might not be able to cope with the volume?

Like everybody else, I obviously have no idea though smile

It’ll be Alphabet, who are business only. I can only assume it’s to protect retail sales (they’re part of the BMW group)

Doesn't look too much worse than the vast majority of Ev to my eyes, they're mostly all hideous.

Not quite true, Alphabet offer personal contract hire.

I did notice that the spec i ordered can no longer be built on the configurator. Hoping its just delayed or a slight change needed.

Yes, i've had two PCH leases via Alphabet....but in both instances I had to provide a 'cover letter' on my business headed paper (albeit this could have easily been fictitious) which I understood to be an artificial 'hurdle' put in place to avoid floods of PCH applications and hence (as eluded to above), protect the BMW retail side. Both were fantastic deals at the time and hence worth the effort.

My new Lexus NX 450h is arriving next week. Very excited. £11k over the two years - 22%
I got mine last week its nice car, insurance was a nightmare to sort out, its the latest model so I thought had all the security fixes but for some reason loads of places wouldn't insure it, where as NX450h+ registered earlier in 2024 were fine. The comparison sites quote but when you click through to go to the insurer site its then declined. I'm nearly 50, max no claims, clean licence, live nice area car on drive but still ended up being thick end of a couple of grand to insure. I'm within the M25 though so may be that's the issue.

Cheers, I just spoke to my insurer (LV) and they didn't have any issues insuring the car. Annual premium £600, happy with that.

The Lexus arrives tomorrow, so will post some pictures if and when the sun ever comes out!

I just returned my Nissan Leaf 62kwh. I had it on a two year lease, and extended by a further two years. Rentals were down to £140 pm by the end!
