BlueChilli came back with £409 for the 5 Series.

Had to pass on it.

I am looking at ending my lease from the BMW 840i Gran Coupe deal early (car barely gets used now I work at home full time). I have confirmation I can transfer the remaining lease period to another private individual on the same terms.

If anyone is interested in taking on an 840i GC from the beginning of February 2022 until beginning of September 2022 for just over £400 a month, DM me.

There is circa 10,000 miles left on the agreed mileage, the car is black with 'cognac' interior, the leasing company is Leasys, and they need the following for us to proceed with the transfer:

• Confirmation from the current customer that they wish to novate the agreement

• Confirmation from the new customer (Mr/Mrs) that they wish to take over the agreement and are happy for a credit search to be carried out against them.

• Confirmation from either the current or the new customer on the as above that they will be settling the £100+VAT novation fee

• Copy of the new customers driving license

Once we receive all of the above, we will email a credit proposal form that needs to be completed by the new customer.

If I get multiple DM, then first come first served and I'll keep a list in case of drop outs. If no one DM's me I'll be paying to hand it back early! Cheers all.

Got a list of 4 now, quick responses!

I've responded to each by email saying where you all are in priority.

Cheers.

Had posted this earlier in gassing but it got removed, for being an advert?
Just ordered a Golf GTI 300 Clubsport on personal lease for one month initial, 36 month, £328 a month. That's with Arval. Way cheaper than anything I've seen for a while, thought it was worth sharing. Was pre ordered so no options like DCC unfortunately but I can live with that. But had colour choice so they must have a few.

Do you have a link to this? Can't find it on Arval's site.

I couldn't either sorry, I was going to post the link but there isn't one. My current Leon Cupra is with them, they told me about it over the phone when I asked what deals they had to replace it.
Phone number is 01793887000 if it helps. Might be worth a call.

Hi Adam, make that 5, so you're 6th... but yes if the unlikely happens I'll let you know.

Toyota RAV4 Excel JBL+PVM (leasing options)

1*23 8k £450 per month. RRP is £40k so works out to 27.5% which is high I think but not ott. Total cost £11k
However if you go for a 1*35 8k it drops down to £374 per month which works out to 34.25%. I think this is a really good deal but maybe there might be some others that are better. Total cost £13.7k, 1 extra year for only £2.7k.
Nowadays I've also noticed that 2,3,4 year are more expensive in that order, a couple of years ago, the 2 years would be the cheapest, but I think lease companies want the cars to used as long as possible, and possibly the manufacturer forcing the prices up for the duration.

Our Icon RAV4 Hybrid (basic spec but they come with a great base spec anyway) is £2.5k down £317/ month 12k miles with full service package inc brakes/ tyres etc. That’s 24 month deal. Don’t think I’ll replicate it? If not may just buy one as they’re excellent and it’s doing 46-52mpg on mixed driving and family duties. Electric around town. Ace thing.

Chased up again still no date!
I followed up last week and I didn’t get a date either. They provided the factory order number but not sure what I can do with that’s information.

Looks like it’s a wait and see. My current lease finishes at the end of March but I can extend up to end of June. If the car isn’t here by then, I’ll be fudged.

Obviously it's the past, so it's irrelevant, but you were getting the RAV4 Excel for about £350/month on a 1+35 6k p/a in December so these prices just seem pretty steep. Similar story with the Tucson.

On the subject of extensions...

Got a Q5 on what was initially a 24 month lease, 8k p/a, £3k down and £292/month. At the end of the 2 years (Sept 2021) extended it for 6 months and +8k miles extra (wife was travelling a lot for work) and was quoted the same £292 monthly.

Now 2 months until the extension ends so asked for a quote to extend again for 12 months and a further 1k miles (car not moved a great deal since the last extension) and been quoted £370/month.

It doesn't seem like a terrible deal in the grand scheme of things, but reckon I might take my chances in the VWFS extension lottery and submit another few requests over the next month or so!
So as above, I asked for a 1 year extension quote on our Q5 with 1k total mileage increase and was quoted £370/month.

Decided to play VWFS extension tombola again the other day and asked for a 1 year extension with no increase in the total mileage allowance and been quoted £460/month rotate

Will maybe try again in a couple of weeks and see if it's £100/month next time...

Yes used them before and are popular on here. No issues.

Deal looks expensive but then again most deals are currently.

With the factory order number I'm pretty sure you can ring up the manufacturer and give them the order number and ask for an update
I did the same when I had a cupra on order that was delayed for multiple reasons but at least you're hearing it from the horse's mouth and not via the leasing company, I just rang them up and said 'Hi, I have an order number I'd like an update on', you give them the number, they whack it in the system and come back with whatever spiel appears in front of them.
If this is with nationwide, I have a Ibiza on order for my OH due in March and I was told I should find out the official build date next week (i'll take that with a pinch of salt though)

By using the cars2buy link above I’ve rechecked and you can get £320 (no service plan) for that which I was impressed with! Factory order though.

I’ll be looking to see if I can extend mine first I think- ends close to end of year so can let things settle down too.
