In the market for a new car, but no strict timeframe and so wondered where s the best place to look for these great deals?

Are there some mailing lists to sign up to, or are there just some websites that are worth trawling day-to-day? Looking for an EV in case that makes a difference.

Thanks
Just keep checking this thread would be my advice. Got my last 5 lease deals by doing so.

That’s not always true.

The difference between business lease prices is usually the addition of VAT.

However funders will sometimes target business users with specific deals, applying additional discounts, such as this case.

It’s always worth asking.

BMW especially seem to have the bigger support on fleet leasing, so they more often or not are exclusively business deals unfortunately.

If you want a leasing deal Porsche is not a great choice.
They like to try and protect the residuals.
I think I am learning that! Quoted well over £1k per month plus VAT (36 months, 10k, 1 month upfront) for the base Macan EV.

Then I thought I was onto a winner with the new iX3, I am a fan of the different styling, only to be quoted the same, around £1k per month plus VAT - madness!

So still on the lookout...may just end up with the Model Y, which I really don't want to go for this time, but it has all the features and the price is probably still most competitive!

Any other options welcomed. Also toying with the idea of Kia EV5, but no pricing out yet that I can see.

Fighting want vs logic here!

M5 Touring: amortised £1380/mo (24m)
Ioniq 5N: amortised £665/mo (18m)
Went for the 5N. Ordered 30 Jul. Arrived 6.45am(!) on 24 Sep. 18m deal, 6k miles, ended up at £647/months (amortised). For 641bhp.

Very impressed so far, head and shoulders above than the EQC400!

In terms of features and package or sheer performance?

Im waiting to see what the rates are on the Smart #5 , also the Alpine A390, although Alpine is pushing the sportiness by not including rear armrest/cupholders. I get the rationale on an A290 , but on a family SUV , really ?

MG IM6, or Tavascan also being considered. Will see what Q4 prices look like on those. Or i may just get a used IX or Q8 with warranty if nothing else works.

Probably range as well. The EQC is pretty poor in that respect

My A4 Avant deal that I found on here (thanks to who posted it) ends in March, I can extend but my place of work are moving so I'll need more mileage and VWFS can't give me a price to increase the mileage until I'm in the extension.

What are the best A5 Avant 200ps and 299ps deals people have seen? I believe there are some good deals on the 299e in Q4

Thanks

Polestar 4 delivered last week.

Really loving it and honestly dont think you can get more car for the money right now (500 pcm no deposit).

some nice minor things like super easy to fit child seats with folding covers, welcome signature lights when you approach, nicest indicator sounds i ever hears. The switch gear and fit on finish on the inside is very high standard. Way nicer than the likes of mercedes.

On bigger items

Good
super fast
infotainment has no bugs so far and i find it easy to use. shortcuts are great, as is google integration.
first time voice control as actually worked in a car for me. Never had it fail for navigation and youtube music gives me pretty much any songs i ask for
the free colour choice is my favourite which is the first time i can say that for any car.
every toy you can possibly think of inc prime back. Only thing i could possibly want in massage seats but i doubt any car gives that outside of options
the ride height. Its not really an SUV coupe like they say but thats a good thing. Its pretty sleek while still having easy access for fat middle age people like me. Also, you dont get paranoid on bad roads.
nice ride and decent handling. Its certainly a motorway car.

quibbles
the rear parking mirror is hard to focus on when you are both long and short sighted like me. Not a big deal though and i like the look of the rear.
occasional lag on infotainment.
no android auto support for the key profile assignment. Strange when the whole system is google based!
range is only 260 estimate. This might be as im not using regenerative breaking and driving a bit fast at the moment. I dont really need anymore for my lifestyle but worth mentioning.

Which specific model did you order, and from which provider? Thanks!

Same here. If you used the same broker I did then you may have noticed he's been in touch and posted on here in relation to a current deal on the A5 Avant ehybrid, but it's more than I am paying now for my equivalent A4 Avant.

Mine ends in March too! Looking for a PHEV with a decent boot, as have gained a grandchild living with us since getting the A4 and have also gained an electric car for his mother so have cheap rate electric.

The A5 Avant PHEV boot space is relatively small at 360 litres, quite a bit less than the A4 Avant petrol (490) if that matters to you.

To be honest after leasing a BMW 330i (a cheaper deal than the A4) I found the A4 40tfsi pretty dull and pretty much everything I preferred in the BMW; steering, satnav, phone connection, infotainment, seats, throttle response, body control, the list goes on. The A5 is reported to be a better drive but I don’t think I would get another one. If I am going to have a dull car I might as well save some money and/or have a bigger car.

Just pay for excess mileage. On my previous A5 i went 10k over and im on track to do the same again. Mine was £0.09 fyi, if it’s more then I can see why you wouldn’t want to of course.
