Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 10)
Discussion
Any recommendations on Car insurance companies for leased Teslas? From people that have a leased tesla already.
Found a really good Tesla Y deal, but insurance companies are charging £3,000 because I mark it as Owner & Keeper as a lease company.
If I change it to Owner as Leasing company and Registered keeper as myself, insurance goes down to £1,200.
In the age range 32-35
£1,200 is affordable, £3,000+ is just too much

Correct me if I’m wrong but you are the keeper and the lease company is the owner so should be able to take the £1,200 option…
also if you have moved house recently you might find that your credit profile hasn’t been updated to the new address yet which could be causing it to be an inflated price

You are wrong, I'm afraid, you're name isn't on the V5, therefore you're not the keeper.also if you have moved house recently you might find that your credit profile hasn’t been updated to the new address yet which could be causing it to be an inflated price

I would get a Porsche dealer to run a PCP quote in comparison. That way you get the chance for any equity at the end, which you don’t with a lease.Porsche Macan SUV 4wd

Porsches have always been rubbish lease deals, as there’s no customer support. Also, that will be the base price with zero options.

Why do I see this so often, "I found a really good deal" and then it doesn't get shared.Found a really good Tesla Y deal, but insurance companies are charging 3,000 because I mark it as Owner & Keeper as a lease company.

Don't get me wrong I'm OK with the insurance question or anything else but so frustrating that people post up "I've found a great deal" on a thread about lease deals and then don't share it, and want help with something else.

Have been thinking about cancelling my Tucson ordered back in Feb as I'd still not had even a vague delivery timescale. Just had a message today to say it's in the next batch due mid-end July.
Yesterday though I came across this which I thought was a decent deal on the Tucson Nline S - spoke to them and they have a few colours available for delivery in July ("Must be delivered in July")

We ordered in Feb for an N Line S 230 HEV. Original delivery was end of this month, but 2 weeks ago that was pushed back to mid-August arrival in the UK with a view to deliver at the start of September. I guess they're waiting for the plates to roll over to 72 hence the delay from factory delivery.

Had an email this morning from Scott at Central UK Leasing, with the new Range Rover Sport P440e SE hybrid for less to lease than a Model Y. Absolutely mental pricing on the Tesla.
The RRS really is tempting, with 50 miles real world EV range (70 claimed) I’d basically not use the engine 90% of the time, but then could do big journeys with ease and no worry of charging mid route.

If you're spending £1-2 per mile to lease a car, depending on mileage, is the 10-20p per mile saved using a battery a genuine factor? Can't seem to find much better on a Golf R? I did consider the Cupra Leon but I'm not a massive fan of them.
