To be fair, they did quote £377 without maintenance which is similar to your link, but I was unlucky enough in my current lease that I required 3 tyres within 18 months (punctures etc), and the cost for each tyre was on average £130.

So, £23pm extra for maintenance including tyres, I just thought is worth it for total peace of mind.

In saying that, my previous lease about 5 years ago, I never took out any maintenance, only done the 1x service in three years which cost me around £200 and 2 tyres at £100 each.

The price actually came down again after we had ordered. Zen adjusted the deal to match the new price.

No you can cancel at anytime BUT you would have to pay for what you have used if that makes sense, for example if you had one service and MOT you would just need to cover the cost of that and if insufficient monthly payments had been made just pay the balance for what you have used NOT the remaining 12 months I have it in an email from my VW dealership

that could end up costing more than just keeping on with the monthly payments

Hi Alienarix. I've gone for the same car in metallic for 3+35 8k miles without maintenance @ £370/month. From a Lookers dealer. Yours seems a slightly better deal.

I've been looking for over a year (we extended our previous lease by a year) and felt that it was the best we're going to get in the current market. Our requirements were family sized, auto and range of over 300miles. The Audi A4 S-Line Avant posted on here seems the best value currently but my wife refuses to drive an estate.

I was torn between waiting and gambling on something better coming up but figured I may struggle to get one for July and we need a car.

The dealer said there were only 3 cars available for our time scales when we ordered 2 weeks ago (could have been a sales tactic!). Could you ask if the deal will be honoured into April to see if Q2 brings any more offers?

We are in the same position.. Current car is a Peugeot 2008, however previously had the 3008 and we missed the extra space when we opted for the 2008 so the Tiguan will be a welcoming change.

The R Line Edition has smaller alloys, 19's instead of 20's, and it's missing the blind spot detection when compared to the R Line, but other than that it's the same car.

I also looked into the R Line Black Edition which has Pano roof and 20's but it's an extra £80-£100 per month, which I couldn't justify in the current climate.

I just got a very pleasant surprise from Volvo. Original lease 10K miles pa, 3+35 @ £307/month. Called up to ask about extensions but while on the phone got them to quote on a mileage adjustment on the current lease (with 6 months to run). Reducing the overall contract to 8K miles pa has been requoted at £204/month!! This will mean going over the agreed mileage but even with the excess mileage rate I'm still quids in.

Best bit is that the extension will be based on that new price, for up to 12 months.

My only concern about doing the extension is: 1. the car will be out of warranty (though I can extend the warranty for around £400 I think) 2. there might be some other costs that come in during that period (eg brake discs, tyres) that I'd have to pay for. And another service obviously. But I still think it's worth doing...it's very unlikely to cost me more than getting a new car, and I can live in hope that leasing rates will drop over the next 12 months or so.

I too was looking at the Q4 eTron 6 months ago. I could've got it for under £500 per month on salary sacrifice for the top spec version and that includes insurance, services, tyres, breakdown and 10k+ miles. We went with the BMW iX3 M Sport Pro in the end, but also looked at the EV6, Tesla Model Y and similar cars in that class. Private leasing of EVs was far too expensive last year and has got worse.

Are you a Director of a Ltd company? You can lease an EV and use it yourself as a company car. Benefit in Kind is 2% currently, so very tax efficient. Also you can reclaim 50% of the VAT.

Speak to your accountant.

i saw some threads back.. some one did lease via oracle finance for an used car.. not sure how or where to find that kind of deals as well

Just look on Leaseloco. It's unlikely that you'd find a deal that isn't on there.

That was through my employer's scheme (Zenith) and salary sacrifice.

Speak to you accountant. You should be able to find a Q4 eTron under £500 net once you factor in the tax benefits. I don't know how the company car scheme works, but presumably you find a deal say on Lease Loco for business rates then check with your accountant what net figures will hit you.

I think prices have gone up a little over the last few weeks but this seems about par from what I can tell. Any better companies recommend?

Not overfussed by specific car/trim etc but a mid size car, hatch/estate preferred.

Does it have to be an EV? If not, I would just get a personal lease and claim back milage and save hundreds monthly that way on a cheaper car.

Not necessarily, but have taken advice from my accountant and recommended to get EV through the company. Will be applying for a mortgage likely in the next 6 months so ideally would like to keep personal finance low. Have considered getting a few year old Skoda Octavia Estate VRS for about £20K outright and being done with it but with the second hand market as it is along with keeping that money for a house deposit seems a reasonable way of reducing my corporation tax.
