Well I for one am disappointed to see that the bargain Audi E-trons seem to have stopped falling in price and the cheapest have sold.

Hmm, been looking at the VW ID. Buzz on my wife's salary sacrifice scheme.

3 yrs, 6k per year £345 pcm including insurance, servicing, maintenance tyres, 10p pm excess mileage charge.

Minimal affect on her pension.

Downside is it's the base model (Life) so just silver metallic which isn't the best colour and range isn't the best but ok for 95% of our use.

I find that unbelievable too… its like she is getting a real tax discount on a perfect risk profile.

What company is that with?
And is that a proper quote or one of their fantasy headline deals?
I was suckered by these, a real quote was barely cheaper than doing it all privately and much more expensive than the fantasy headline deals they advertised.

Post a screeny?

Not going to mention the company, my wife wouldn't appreciate that smile

Proper quote, I was amazed as well.

She's not on serious money, middle management as an Accountant.

Polestar and Ioniq 5 were more expensive.

She's in the office today so I'll ask her for a screen grab and see if I can blank out the company details.

Sorry, I meant the company providing the salary sacrifice scheme, definitely would be a stretch to try and get a job where your wife works, just for a car!

Might interest a few ppl, if you said Zenith, I’d be firing up their portal, asking for a quote straight away because my company use them.

I'll have one of those please... That'd be a great new dog wagon and a good option for a lot of our local usage!
If that paperwork stacks up then get that ordered before it disappears.

That's a very good deal. Just run a quote on cbvc and the same car/deal is coming back as £900 per month gross, or £550 Net for a 40% tax payer.

Our company switched from Zenith to Tusker recently and they’re wanting £600 for 5k miles. £345 is a bargain.

Well wife went into the portal this morning and they've all been allocated!
Nor surprising and no idea how many they had.

They went up on Thursday I think.

Still thinking about an Ioniq 5 77KWh 228PS version for approx. £345 pcm or a Polestar 2 Standard Range SM for £335.

Honestly wouldn’t wait at those prices. They are abnormally low, I reckon they are special lead ins or some sort of very limited offering so they can advertise their bs headline rates legally.

The thing with ICE cars the basic drivetrain is so developed the incremental improvements generation to generation are small. I mean a 15 year old ICE does about the same mpg, is roughly as refined and has about the same regular servicing costs as one you buy today. Performance won't be vastly different either.

With EV I suspect in short order a £20k EV will be better and newer tech than a current £40k one and a £40k one twice as good.

That means "Generation 1 and 2" EVs will seem old hat before their time.

When did they tell you this? I had spoke to them about 4pm today and they will still able to quote with the high GFV lender. Annoyingly I was going to pull trigger tomorrow morning biggrin
