I recently purchased a used car from a main dealer via VW financial services. It's on a PCP.

Unfortunately, the car is simply uncomfortable and I am not gelling with it.

What are my options here? The paperwork references a 14 day termination period but I'm not overly clear on how it works.

Thanks.

Speak to the dealer… finance can be cancelled but that’s seperate to the purchase of the vehicle

If it was a distance sale and you didn't visit the dealership then you may be able to return it. If you did go to the dealership then it's likely the 14 days cooling off period is for the finance which just means you can pay it off without any penalties.

If it's under the VW approved used scheme then there is a return your car for a different one of your don't like it option. But it looks to have dealer discretion needed. Might work though

Out of interest, what is it that you're finding so physically uncomfortable about the car? This is the sort of thing you'd expect to decipher during test drives prior to purchase and I imagine it could be a little costly for you now with whatever restocking fee you're charged.

Finance should just be a case of confirming settlement cost, I may well be wrong but I believe the 14 day cancellation period is from date of signing the agreement and not from the date it commences.
