I know that car. Good car and well maintained. The number plate follows a long running legal dispute with a neighbour, which went to court.

Unfortunately, it's a bit broken, and the owner has not put the interior bits back in properly (it looks like).

But look at it!

This car is also on VOC, looks like a belter!!
Crazy that the Note in front of it looks like it has the same rear silhouette as what was once one of the biggest load carriers out there...

Happy Friday losers.

Roll the dice with this 5.0 supercharged L405 in green. Advisories for low oil and overfilled coolant spin

Probably sourced from WBAC - what could possibly.......

More Ovlov love but at Friday price.
V low mileage and price seems a bit steep compared to the 960 at x10+ but the garage have got to cover their restoration inc a respray.
Check out the seats !

What's a head gasket replacement on one of these? £2k labour, assuming everything can just be slightly skimmed?

They were rather an odd thing when new. IIRC you could have had a 628CSi for the same money - I doubt many people would have had the 280CE instead.

The Volvo weirdly doesn’t look that big with the Note in the picture.

Old, slow, one owner and rotting in the Cumbrian air. Much like my good self. After a couple of ports my nose will even match the paint.
You re welcome.

Doesn't look top of the range to me. I was tempted to view as it's local but the price and the ever returning rusty arches that I've had in the past put me off. I would expect a crusty s class for that money ....

It doesn't seem so long ago this would have been a 1500 quid cockroach car. Buy it, run it, try (unsuccessfully) to kill it with a lack of care or kindness but it would see you through however long you wanted to keep it. Simple, comfy mile muncher. Slow, charmless but keeps the rain off...

Jesus, that is rough. Saved from the scrapper and attacked with an £8.99 burgundy aerosol. It's a shame as it decent nick it'd be a lovely car.
