Is it running hotter than it should in pic 22? Most cars have it so at operating temp the needle is in the middle?
The middle is 60C it looks like, which is too low for operating temperature. Seems just a Bentley thing to do it that way

Shirley that's got to be very broken? Ah, previous cat S. No mention of mileage, or service history, and number plate not shown. Where do I sign up? hehe

Funny, that he hid the number plate as well. Just to flow with genuine seller vibes hehe

I sold the M3 privately. I was expecting it to take months to sell, but it took 4 days and got full asking price hehe so now I have the GTS 4.0 and the E46 325i.
That is great clap I heard that the Mercedes was not up to your standards hehe and had to go for the E46 biggrin

At least you know that the EML light is not broken wink

EML as exhaust sensor. Sure it is mate, that's why you've not sorted it before sale.

Some time ago there was a damaged Flying Spur in similar colour that "only" needed a rear bumper, but mileage was much higher.
The ad has so many images at different locations that it looks like a scam.

The Mercedes was a nice old bus but in reality it wasn't viable. After buying it I found it was like Swiss cheese and needed se welding to get past it's next MOT. If that cost, say, £1k, I'd be left with a car that was still leaking engine, diff and hydraulic suspension oils that also needed a full service. It just wasn't worth it.

The E46 has been great. I like it very much and has been pretty much exactly what I wanted. Tatty enough around the edges so I'm not fussed about where I leave it, cheap and economical (ish), yet interesting enough to look at and to drive without me being embarrassed to be seen in it or so bored with how it drives that I don't want to drive it. It is a very good car,.and, in my opinion, the best looking 3 series.

It's getting new intake boots fitted next week as it has an EML, and they're cracked. And letting air in. Grand sum of £31 for both boots.

That is good to hear that it isn't costing much. How is the body coping with rust?

I don't think it's really got worse in the 15+ months I've had it

Mega spec 5.5 V8 S211 with big miles. Owner must be of this parish surely? Wheels are not to my taste but this is easily fixed.

Engine light on and error code made me think of Escy and his wife's Jaguar.

Very late Friday entry. Glorious Alpina Touring. Wheel in the wrong place obvs. High miles (albeit well maintained?) and doubtless the price will go up from 11kEur but just look at it !

I can’t help thinking I’ve seen the waterside location before re an Alpina.

One for Stegel to pass comment if he reads it, but that sounds to be 'world of pain' if it still has an error on that bank over a year after the big bill in the picture. It would have to be cheap.

Potentially less fraught, a 2004 S211 E500 in long ownership, circa £3,250

There is but I've not updated it for ages. In fact, not for over a year!

Looks the part. Might even be ULEZ compliant?
