Happy Friday losers.

Sadly 'P.O.A.' nonsense, but a fetching 6 litre V12 XJS. Who the hell only does 1,344 miles in it though?

Happy Friday losers.

Now changed from P.O.A. in October to £50,000

Is it optimistic? I'll bet it was 50k new in the ninties. Thats a 101k car today. And it is as new. 50k doesn't buy you much new car or classic these days, particularly one that has had a single owner and been to the shops and back.

At the end of the day it is a 30 years old now. Unless it is used as an ornament it is an old car.

The 300SE was fine cruising at speed, but not economical.

I once did 1000km in a day from Hook of Holland to the top of Denmark in the 9000 Aero and averaged 85mph for the trip at 32mpg. Decent stints of 120mph cruise across Germany. Was pretty impressed with that speed/economy combo.
Austria by any chance? I've done the same....

As are all 'classics'. 50k buys you a fair selection but I genuinely don't think that is an outrageous price for that type of car IF it is as described. Others may well disagree and that's cool. Hopefully my numbers come up, I'm looking for an auld smoker for my partner....

Was en route to Norway. Hook of Holland to top of Denmark (Hirtshals) does not normally encompass Austria!

Interesting semi auto as well, no clutch pedal but change gears like a normal manual

Lordy Lord. If I had somewhere to put that I would be calling his NHS secretary in the morning to see if he could fit me in with his busy schedule (he is an NHS consultant) and I would over there with the readies in a bag (once finished with my Patient's I'm an NHS Doctor)

Must be a bargain. Suspect it will be advertised with a white background in short order at twice that price. Anyone got an empty garage?

Looks like it. I am actually relieved. Was having dark thoughts and was thinking of changing my NHS clinic commitments over the weekend (I am a Doctor) and heading to Sutton. If that is as described my (DR) colleague has seriously sold that car short.

I keep seeing hipster 20 somethings tooling around in these recently and I think they are really ageing beautifully.

Seems to be advertised right now, maybe a glitch or a time waster

Go on PT what could possibly go wrong !

MOT history, a recent tester seems obsessed w underside surface rust on a 35yo car ! Otherwise bits and bobs generally being addressed, couple of rear springs corroding, hardly terminal. Shame it failed one time cos the washers wouldn t work, hey-ho.

Nice.

Why did they get rid of the button to lower the rear headrests on the facelift?
Oh yeah! One of my greatest titivations was the re-instatement of that function on mine. Perhaps Stegel will be along in a while to tell us, as he owns one.
Unfortunately I have no idea! It’s ages since I’ve been in a pre-FL. Only thought is, are the flip down headrests height adjustable? They are on a FL and I wonder if they could not combine remote flipping down and lowering? The FL saw the rear wiper control move to the stalk, with the dash switch on pre-FL seeming very wrong and awkward now to my eyes.

That is a bit random, but it's intentional and fills a gap!
