On the face if it I think it is, a look under the rubber mats in the front footwells would be helpful.

Looks genuine to me, they wear their miles well, but things like those pedal/foot-rest rubbers and temperature wheels all look like new.

Seems well priced to me too.

Who fits Apollo tyres when something decent in that size is going to be a few quid more?

Very cool! MOT history indicates ongoing battle with rust unfortunately.

I'd go to look for myself. Some zealous testers advise on surface corrosion which in reality is nothing to worry about. If it can be bought for the opening price it's a cheap year's motoring in a unique vehicle.

At £1300 its disposable, only needs to last a year.

I hired one in Australia in the mid 90's for about 3 weeks and it was great, we sat in it on Christmas day with the aircon running as it was 44c in Queensland.

Was multiple failures, not just advisories. Bit of a shame to probably have to scrap an uncommon car like that soon but nobodies gonna spend big on an old Mitsubishii guess.

Ford Fairlane for just over thread. Never heard of these before, are they similar to the big US Fords of the time? https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C2001942

That looks like moonstone metallic I think.

I wonder if it got any Bogan rep from it's Falcon stablemate or Holden Commadore competition?

In the UK I have only seen Ford Fairlanes used by funeral directors.
Ian Seabrook aka Hubnut runs/ran a Fairmont (a SWB Fairlane) in Wales, of course.

It's possible. There was an E63 650i that I'd regularly see on my drive to work and it's a lovely shade.
