Agreed - the tyres look stretched to fit, so need to be one or two sizes larger on the width measurement

I absolutely love the Volvo Saffron on this S70. Don't love the price, with that mileage and list of niggles five grand is big ask https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/397531438462

I thought that the thread tenet was to purchase something like the above, then spend six months and a lot of £s in getting the vehicle to an acceptable standard before selling it.

Must be an old Omega engine?

Cavernous.
You'd be better off with the facelift Elite; better engine (2.8T) and arguably better looks.

I am never offended, it's here for discussion and it's not my car (I'm not offended if it is my car either).

I like the hintofgreen colour with the bright wood, but it does seem pricey (I never usually look at the diesels, so I'm out of the loop)

It's mostly the way the advert is written that annoys me. It's a plain ass silver saloon BMW that has nice seats as the only option, apart from fking horrendous wood. And I like wood. £5.5k at best.

And this conversation would be soooo dull without opinions!

I agree with this one but enjoy the ones I don't agree with as well smile

The drivers side rear bumper looks a different colour to the passenger side of the bumper and to the rest of the car.

Bien sûr, usually selling at half thread having been defeated by the list of additional niggles arising since fettling began.

Where are you seeing that? I quite like the colour, it's pretty far from silver but the sellers photo's aren't really great at showing that. Assuming the car's still euro 5?

Talking of BMW’s and plastic bumpers - £6k on the car, £1,5k on servicing, machine polish, Pirelli’s and rocker cover, £700 on headlight refurbishment and then the missus reversed into it on Wednesday.

Alas, she’s come off worse so if anyone knows a dent-popper-outer that’s reasonable in Leeds please say. I’m more concerned for her car than mine. She loves that little Z4! Mine will buff out etc

Sorry, back to barges..

Every picture with the drivers side bumper touching the rear body panel, lol.

Has it had a slight scrape and respray in the wrong colour or something worse?

Look at picture 2, then 22, then 24, the drivers side always looks different but the passenger side doesnt.

Agree. Grey leather reminds me of a dentists chair.

Euro 5 is the biggest negative if you're in London (I am).
