Why you'd spend that kind of money on a P38 instead of a supercharged L322 I don't know...

Looks like someone's excited for ACA! Going to be interesting to see how many cars get near their reserve, seems optimistic as usual.

Meanwhile here's a cheap V8 at just 1600 quid https://www.gumtree.com/p/jaguar/2003-jaguar-s-typ...

Looks good but I reckon he's flogging it before a predicted MOT fail on corrosion.

Thanks Tobinen, a good selection there. My Dad owned four XJS' and the last was a '95 4.0 convertible similar to the above but in a wine red colour with cream leather, and without the Californian spec wheels thankfully. Lovely thing to waft around in. I also had a Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Ltd for a year or so and after that experience I have absolutely zero desire to own or even drive another one smile

308 XJR looks very nice.

Fascinated to see where the Arnage T ends up, if I needed a car right now I'd be getting a train to King's Lynn for a look.

Seller is a trader, so god knows what he paid for it.

About £200-£300 I expect. Leggy, rusty, short ticket, it's a full house of "no".

The MOT history rather suggests it's been on borrowed time for a couple of years.

Was that the dirt cheap one close to Liverpool? Good effort if so, long ownership period helps massively!

I don't know how anyone can use the MB website tho, on Android the pop-ups cover 90% of the screen....
It was, although I went to Bournemouth to get it - got the train down and of course they were buggered - 'cows on the line' apparently... rolleyes

Thanks for the concern, but nothing you couldn't see on Google streetview!

Does your saloon have a panoramic roof?
It does indeed, and it even works and doesn't leak!

Lovely estate.
Thank you, it's got a couple of small blemishes but nothing you wouldn't expect for a 150,000 mile 22 year old car. Plus it's been meticulously maintained - £16.5K spent on it since 2012 yikes

I think that E500 is a bargain assuming you got it for the price he suggested on the MB site. Nice wheels too.

Congratulations, fellow S211 E500 chum. I have an extensive thread on mine which you might peruse for inspiration.

Another good pair from ACA I reckon - 4.2 XKRs convertible or coupe! Best ones for bork potential vs performance, not spectacular colours but nice all the same. The coupe only has 17k miles! The chap we bought ours from will probably be bidding on it.
