I bet that rides beautifully on those small wheels.

335i GT Luxury MANUAL. What a weird car that I very much want.
For some reason I really like that, but reading about HPFP and Injector issues on N54 engines puts me off!
Then you'll be glad to know it's an N55! No piezoelectric injectors like on the N54. Instead, these ones sometimes like to spin their rod bearings!

I posted this a while a go. I think it’s a lovely car and surprised it hasn’t sold

Chap looks to buy cars and sell them on (nowt wrong with that).
Good sleuthing.

Does make the advert a bit greasy though. Selling due to illness my arse.

Have to treat a 4.5 as disposable, there are a lot of cheap ones around.

Cool car. Very ugly but combined with the drivetrain it could make for a good sleeper.
As someone suggested, put some Birds suspension on it, buy a 320d GT badge for the tailgate and enjoy!

I don't think any trustworthy trader would touch these with a barge pole. You roll the dice on your own and keep your fingers crossed. To be disposable I think this has to be sub-£1,500. A pity but if they were any good, they'd be more expensive.

They aren't fast. I just about managed to put some distance on an NC MX5 in a straight line.

They are, however, hilariously fun to drive like a dick.

It's one of the most surprising sheds I've owned, we bought it to laugh at it but found it was brilliant fun. If you can get one for buttons with a long ticket, you're ok with warning lights and odd behaviour, and happy to sell it for scrap if something big goes wrong then why not.

If you are the sort of person that has sleepless nights if their car isn't tip top then I think it'd break you though. Fuel economy was also astonishingly high, and I say this as someone whose daily driver has been 4 litres or above for the last 30 years.

The point about any trader who would sell these being dodgy is probably valid.

On a similar note to the 335i GT, I give you this 535i GT with a ludicrous spec:

Indeed. A driveway trader, intentionally buying cars to turn a profit while neglecting all responsibilities in terms of warranties/consumer rights and lying about the reason for sale. Can guarantee that his "aunt" is on the logbook.

Happens in all areas of business these days, sadly. "Side hustle".
