Nice. Until....

They look like the Works Service ones, too - so probably cost a fortune.
Not saying there is anything wrong with it.....but the advert says it was posted a year ago.
Unless that's code for any date before 1/1/2026.

That dealer is about 10 miles from me. Never popped in but he does tend to stock more interesting cars than you’d normally expect.

On a similar note to the 335i GT, I give you this 535i GT with a ludicrous spec:

If you think this a ludicrous spec you would need a box of tissues handy if mine came for sale. I would say it s ok but plenty better fxx 5ers around if you look for them. The N55 is a peach of an engine in my experience, smooth and refined and enough go for today s roads even in standard form. More poke easily available as noted.

A lot of want (yes I m weird)
No MOT.

What's this in the boot?

Autotrader has a number of issues at present. One of those is saying cars have no MOT, when a search against reg may show otherwise.

I think autotrader shows info based when the car was listed, so if it is a 6 month old advert but ran out of mot in 4 then had another 12 months put on, it will show as expired as the original 4 months have run out and the data has not been refreshed since.

They look like something you'd find on a flash coach from 2005.

It's been rather quiet on the Friday front, so here's one from me that could be fun for a UK tour - Ingress and egress would be problematic for me, and I don't fancy paying about £20 per week for insurance, but otherwise I would like it. Mineral grey with red leather, just like my current car wink

I saw one of these the other day and thought "ooof". DKR interior, too. Let's just overlook the tragic AI description.

AI descriptions can be laughable, but I like the look of the car.
Saturday morning maths:
£1K for insurance plus £195 for VED for this car
Is cheaper than £500 for insurance plus £760 for VED for some other cars.
Thankfully, it's not really the weather for a drive over to Brighton for a test drive.

I'm in need of an education - What is 'DKR interior'?

I believe it's the term 'dog knob red' or one might prefer DCR; 'dog cock red'.

Abattoir red also provides a good visual approximation of the colour.

vomit

I'm beginning to wish that I had not asked - Perhaps I should get some seat covers.

It is possibly the strongest interior red shade I’ve seen. I’m trying to imagine what exterior colour it would actually pair with - a deep navy blue maybe.

There was/is an E38 740i with DKR interior inside a black metallic exterior - opening the door was like opening a door to Dante's Inferno.

I love the red interior in my Silver Grey BMW Z4, but it isn't as bright as that.

But even that is better than gloomy black everywhere!

Gloomy black everywhere …
Terrible monochrome colour scheme but late Friday QP at 6x thread.

Supposedly mega low miles but seller hides reg’s so no history.

They're not that bright in person, it's just the photos

Above thread and not my cup of tea but seems a lot of car for the money.

Perhaps surprisingly it would appear to be in the right ball park, one other of a similar mileage on AT which happens to be the same year at 7.5k
