Not an original R33 as apparently only 12 were made. It’s an aluminium hand-made bodied recreation with a Maser 4.2 v8 and Porsche 99x box with a wonderfully beautiful interior and a-c.
Still a one-off, unique and priceless in my book.

And on PH elsewhere

Apologies for thread hijack but I rarely look at any other PH thread and we’re a broad church.

Above thread and not my cup of tea but seems a lot of car for the money.
I ran an FX 3.0D Premium S for seven years and can highly recommend them. Much more reliable and engaging than the Porsche Cayenne 4.5 V8 S that I ran for the seven years prior to the Infiniti….

I think they did a 5.0 V8 version of these. Quite good looking for an SUV too.

I know the paper specs look good but 8k for luxury nissan with mega tax and v low mpg seems a little high, admittedly I have no real basis for that judgement.... Just gut feeling

Oh dear, this lovely looking S211 E63 AMG is in need of titivation, likely hinted at by the parsimonious description which belies a rudimentary MOT history search.

Those alloys look incorrect to my eyes. Subsequently ,
the tyres fitted 245/40/18 aren't correct for these, Shirley?

I must admit, I do find these quite intriguing.

The questions I ask myself when I see them up for sale are:
What would the equivalent specification and age Porsche Cayenne cost? How many years tax would the price difference pay for? Would paying higher tax be worth it knowing I wouldn’t have to worry about timing chain failure, propshaft issues or ticking injectors?

The later 2014 QX70 (essentially the same car) is £430 p/a and a 2017 3.7 V6 (Z350 engine?) is £195 p/a, by the way.

Would I be happy driving around in a Fathom FQ2 from Grand Theft Auto?

The interiors do look quite inviting.

The S Premium does have an awful lot of kit as standard.

The example below clearly shows they are capable of high mileages.

If, like, me you buy cars that impress yourself, rather than to impress others, perhaps it's worth considering these?

After discovering that the Mazda CX-60 can be had with a rather nice straight six and a massive amount of standard kit, I'm starting to think it might be a good idea to think outside the box and look at something other than the usual German suspects when it comes to replacing my current GLC daily.

I don't know about the tyres, but may be the alloys are copies? Photo seven of the listing has what looks to me like a collection of wheel weights that stretch from one spoke to the next.

It is possibly the strongest interior red shade I ve seen. I m trying to imagine what exterior colour it would actually pair with - a deep navy blue maybe.
A mate bought a 3 Series maybe 10 years ago with a DCR interior paired to BMWs brightest red paint on the outside.

It had to have been a one of one. We took the piss mercilessly.

Think they are SL or CLS wheels?

I've longed for a V8 one for a while, and I'm really not a fan of SUVs. In fact, had Covid not come along I'd have probably sold my E91 for one. They always seem to have commanded strong money.

It was £9,995. Who wouldn't take a punt, frankly?

Given they have a SsangYong Musso for a fiver short of £10k you may well be right!
