This is probably incredibly dull but in a good way. Are these a traditional auto or a CVT?

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202602159...
Proper auto, they didn't go CVT until the 2012-on cars. That one's mislabelled in the ad as 2014, should be 2005ish.
Was imported from Jersey in 2014 so will show as registered here in 2014
Any chance we can stop quote posting the MASSIVE Subaru picture? We've seen it.
Pardon?

Had the wheels on the 630i finally refurbed this week. (A little dark but it’s serves me right for being so relaxed with my ‘as close to factory as you can’)

The car paid me back with an almost immediate leak. As I’m too busy to investigate its had to go to the man. Seal on the gearbox electrical connector I’m told.

It’s been faultless for a couple of years so can’t complain.

Really common fault on the ZF gearbox, there is a kit with the filter, seal, mechatronic seal, and the oil you need.

I'm not sure why that'd put someone off an otherwise good car.
Very fair observation. I think the point was could negative connotations (justified or not) have an effect on prices to the bargeiste’s pecuniary advantage smile

I’m really surprised at Epstein liking such ordinary fare.

Interesting. Wasn’t aware. There are a couple of other preventative bits I need to have costed. Nice gearbox for this type of car.

I think we should look into the original source of the image as he is being stuck to other things dressed in the same clothes. Looking into the email if it is real it would appear the vehicle in question to be sourced for his house keeper.

A rather uncommon barge. S212 E500 with the 388bhp 5.5L M273 V8. In Desingo Mystic Brown -- the the interior is not to my tastes.

I like 85% of the interior, the rest not so much wink
That looks lovely, it's a lot of car for the money.
Listing ended early, presumably soon to be seen against a white background.
Just seen it advertised here:

Still not a terrible price compared to if it had a white background 👍

Congratulations KadettE, top barging and with the forecourt shot. Winning.

You've sold the Super V8 already?
Yes I sold the Daimler as spares/repairs last week instead of fixing it. Fancied a change (the sensible decision would probably have been to fix it, was a great car) and always thought that these first gen A8 are cool. Here's the post I made that has the ebay listing with some photos:

That has to be one for the "Badly Modified Cars" thread. It's a W124 ruined. cry

Picked this up the other day as a replacement for my Daimler. It's got a fewwhole list of niggles that need sorting but it'll do as a stop-gap for the moment. A8 quattro 4.2, posted the ad a while ago on here too
I love this! Congratulations!

That is absolutely horrendous.

How someone has taken a nice colour and a desirable car to create that abhorrent nightmare is quite the achievement.
