Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 22]

This has been for sale at least since before I got my XJR, which was nearly 5 years ago. Base trim, manual gearbox. Only options I can see are leather seats (£1,060), metallic paint (£720), passenger seat electric height adjust (£225) and heated windscreen (£235).
Seems to have been a press car. Maybe they needed a cheapskate X300 to show poor people.

If a dealer hasn't put an MOT on that, even to give potential buyers the fail sheet for information, they know it's catastrophically bad.
Shame, it's a very rare car now with the manual.
ETA - it's not had an MOT for almost 7 years! If I was nearby I'd go and have a good poke about, if it's not rusty everything else is easy enough to sort out on them.

Stripped out and watered down to be priced towards Granada/Scorpio and Carlton/Senator/Omega when new.
Still a great drive.
I know which one I'd rather have, but then again, I'm biased.Still a great drive.
Hopefully the dealer isn't the idiot 'I know what I have' type and someone can pay a sensible price for it.

Anyone who bought the Dagenham dustbin when an X300 was a real option deserved the turd they got

BMW 550i touring with 160k miles and CAT N due to vandalism....
....seems very tempting when the price is £3500.

I think an afternoon spent with a touch up pen and some wet and grit would have them scratch marks barely visible from 5 metres away.

That might explain the heated screen - my 1985 Scorpio had one (and heated seats). Still a great drive.
But I would much rather have had a manual Jaguar. I'm sure someone on here just bought a manual 3.2, which is quite a coincidence as there can't have been many!

Seems they have done 42,000ish miles in the last 3ish years, so hopefully should have fixed any teething problems from doing low milage in Japan for 15 years.https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C2060286

Cheaper(400ish) tax as well being an import it would seem.
Could be a nice car ready for a good few years of normal service.

GoLs auction win/ DB7 thread had me looking at SWVA, it's not the best engine, those alloys are gash, but it's brown, and could be yours for 3.5k. presumably plus the bits. But it's brown.

Pre-barried for the gregarious bargeistehttps://www.swva.co.uk/vehicle/krofwr4cb9sjrnj18o1...
Another Quattroporte, this time one with the ZF. How cheap do you reckon it would have to be to be worth a punt? Off the road since atleast 2019 by the looks of it.

Depends if you're prepared to tinker with it yourself, I wouldn't want to throw it at a specialist to get them to sort it out. I'd say that's cheap enough as it is if the condition is good in person.https://ebay.us/m/YuRU7p
730i with some lovely photos, Friday budget creep etc. Velourrrrrr.
