WokeBlob keeps an eye on the market for such things and thinks with the full history and condition and how rare a manual is it'd be £3.5k privately.

Just shoved my hands in under the sill covers and even that's fine. Shed jackpot hit here.

Had a manual V6 X type some 10 years ago. Try the seats out on a long long trial. Ours looked really comfortable, sporty, leather etc. Half an hour into a journey was enough, absolutely crippling.

I have to agree that my view of the S-Type has softened hugely when viewed through the lens of modern car design.

It may not be a lust-worthy beauty but quite a handsome thing, helped by good colours, and the R variant is actually very smart IMHO.
