Sweet. Have been on the lookout for ages for a 3.0 manual X or S type, like hens teeth. Enjoy.
Had a manual V6 X type some 10 years ago. Try the seats out on a long long trial. Ours looked really comfortable, sporty, leather etc. Half an hour into a journey was enough, absolutely crippling.Conversely the seats in this S Type are fabulously comfortable. They are very rare as manuals, I've been on the lookout for literally years and my friend snapped up the last BCA one and it turned out to have a rattling timing chain and went off to be an engine/gearbox donor for something else.
I'll keep thread updated on how it goes.
Friday summer cruiser, nice colours, smaller engined SL. Nudging 2.5 thread, no DD done.

Or another in less exciting colours with 20k less miles but let’s hope the photos don’t reveal a lack of prep (plates

Who wants an inelegant SL? And it only went downhill from here.
Great blend job on that door at the front, somewhat less so at the rear.

It's incredibly lovely and so well specced. It would make for a wonderful daily.

That looks super smart and I do think they have got better with age.
I'm just checking that you're saying that the proposition has stood the test of time and that you're not making the preposterous one that the looks have somehow improved over time..?phil_cardiff said:

That is cool. They can't have made many in that spec.

A punchy asking, but if my numbers came up I wouldn't think twice.
Not a barge but it is Friday and I suspect that folk will appreciate this. If for nothing else, it will wash the vision of the Luce from your eyes.
My goodness what a pretty car this is.

Another pretty car, only this time in a rather fetching shade of brown.
