Jokes aside, I assume, from that advert, that certain bits and bobs, which could potentially stall an MOT might not be available or are astronomically priced. From the advertised cars windscreen with chips to the rear LED brake light that is apparently easy to replace, but hasn't been done...

Think if that was a auto I'd be half tempted, the manuals are pretty grim in these

I reckon that would get to 200k, which would seem like a reasonably good value way to do 30k miles in much comfort.

I think that's a reasonable price, low milage manual and in good nick. Would make a nice daily.

I love(d) Saab and the 9000 2.3 Turbo S we had was a really special car with some lovely details. Proper Bridge of Weir leather with tags to denote same on the front seats.

Traded in for a derisory sum against a Mercedes at the start of the Chrysler era…

I don't know why everyone says that, the manual in my 1989 2 litre 190e may not have been fantastic, but it worked just fine. I'd happily take a manual especially in a 1.8 - an auto from that era wouldn't do the performance any favours!

From the bonnet up pic it's a four pot, probably just a regular old SLK230k

Oh yes your'e quite right, at a quick glance I thought it was a four pot engine cover.

I've had quite a few of these, if that's not rotten it's a nice car for the cash.
