That really is lovely, the 20i never had the torque not to be pretty hopeless with an auto but with a manual that'll go as well as it needs to. 1993 should mean VANOS on the intake camshaft too so it'll have a wider spread of torque.
Hair bobble on the gear lever tells us his wife/gf is a good girl too, and the condition of the interior tells us there is never any spillage

SLK320s are still relatively plentiful and cheap as autos but manuals are really rare, I think I've only ever seen two come along and both were totally rotten.
I scrapped a relatively low mile un-rusty 2001 auto earlier this year because it needed a £100 relay module or some nonsense and the MOT was up and I couldn't be arsed with it. They're murder to sell, not worth dealing with the d
heads when the scrap man is offering £300 and you paid £500 with fees for it 18 months earlier.If you want one let me know, I've a real soft spot for them and have to resist buying every ok-ish looking one that goes through BCA.
Friday = New to me car day, it's nearly 10 years old - So it will have less 'safety bongs' than a new car, and does not have a starting handle nor manual choke.

The make and model did get a mention from macron - But he would be horrified at the type of motion lotion that this one drinks.
The only 'bargey' things are 17" wheels with lots of rubber sidewall, and heated leather seats.
It has about 3 times the bhp of my first car (A Ford Escort Mk2 1.3GL), and about 35% more bhp than my current car.
Collection just after lunchtime, hopefully with a full tank of fuel.
Now let's see some Friday cars.

Hopefully might have the budget to buy something later in the year, not had a working car for a few years now, getting twitchy, lol.

Practically yes, though I cannot vouch for the inspection they do and afaik they are fairly expensive. As most of the pictures look good you're not stood in front of it I do worry about that.
