I think the mudflaps are giving that illusion.

I'm pretty sure those wheels came in more than one size so they may be small ones. I had a set of 16s with winter tyres for my E46 and they were only 7J rims with 205 tyres!

But as has been said with a straight 6 and that hardtop it looks like a bargain.

That's a perfectly reasonable thing to do with a £900 UKCGR NO RESERVE wked out old X5, and I love it.

I really really do wonder if the seller thinks someone is going to pay £20k for it though, if so what an interesting mind they must have.

Someone would give you £3k for it if you're lucky, it can get passed around for charity rally events and other nonsense as a joke car until it finally completely dies, how could anyone think it is good for anything else?

Whilst I don't disagree on the price, I do like the advert. "I can deliver as long as you drop me at the station and pay for my train ticket home" is pretty reasonable. And the interior has worn very well indeed.

Practical Classics writer so you'd think it would be a decent car, the one magazine I still get, and at that price can you go wrong?
I already have one too many otherwise id be interested at that price.

Seems a cheap way into C6 ownership. Lots of work has been done and it is priced low enough to warrant a punt. The cambelt stands out as a pricey job, but the Lounge pack and cream interior are a bonus. They are all diesels anyway, so unless you must have a petrol, at least take a look and report back with the obligatory forecourt shot 😁

I know from personal experience that at least in Jaguar's that cam belt can be ignored for a long time and you can get lucky. Just sayin'
