I thought the red was one of the free colours? Still, a good manopausemobile.

That LC is back up on a classified listing for £14750, ambitious.

The red R231 has featured before and GoL/TWB's advice it to check the paint as the red ones could be of suspect quality.

The C140 seems expensive to me as a former owner. Check all the buttons work, soft close, the A pillars are dry and for rust as even these are starting to suffer. A wonderful cruiser though.

L405 5.0; £18,000
How about £17.5k for your Friday splash...

SL500 with the 4.7 blown V8 and interesting colour scheme.

Please, somebody buy it so I don't have to...I am seriously tempted.

In sort of barge related news my XKR convertible has gone away and I am feeling very sad about it. What an utterly fabulous car that was, I think I might want one who hasn't got tin worm of the front subframe.

Picking my DB7 up tomorrow though, which might make me feel a bit better, but I'm going to miss the speed and noise and excitement of the rather mental XKR.

That looks dear to me, although I know Saabs do have quite a following. But I'd rather have one of the Italian versions of that shell!

Thats all the money. I owned a lot of Saabs and never got on with 9000, but take it from me, the 9000 was much better built than the Italians...not a cliche, just true

It's a bit of a late Friday entry but how about this for a sublime piece of retrobargery:

Behold the plush blue velour and digital dash for the win.

nice looking SL within budget, with an 'ardtop. Would suit an MDMA enthusiast.

Nice. 330 people watching it so it I'm guessing it won't last long.

That seller describes an E220 with a failed MOT for rust as 'very nice condition usable classic' so I'm a little sceptical that this would get through its MOT next month!

It’s a long one with a sensible engine.

Wafting in at a smidge under top thread

It presumably has an interior but as to what it is ? Who can tell.

Well... You certainly won't ever suffer the embarrassment of trying to get into the wrong car in a car park.

(Something that genuinely happened to me once, when my daily driver was a silver vanilla hatchback and every other car on the road seemed to be a silver hatchback).

It's not for me, but perhaps this would be a good basis for someone who is into the steam punk aesthetic to have a crack at a car? Put some glowing stuff on there, make it antique brass colour.
