Ahh that good old MOT exempt, ulez free 500+ bhp diesel. biggrin.

Being a 1973 classic, the car benefits from:
ULEZ Exempt
Road Tax Exempt
MOT Exempt
I was thinking along those lines but looked up the details, and it would be ok on age but wthe way I read it, it would also not have to be modified.
no substantial changes have been made to the vehicle - for example, replacing the chassis, body, axles or engine to change the way the vehicle works rofl
hehe

A 22 grand Maybach 62 for £22k. Surely one for Mr Bolide.

Even a Maybach can't escape being upbadged it seems.
Many alarm bells.

"Looks and drives mint" yet "Needs some caring for"

Advert not at a premesis or house.
Parked like a bell end.
2 month MOT left
Warrington.
Potato-quality photos.
No photos of the dash showing any (or no) warning lights.
And menstrual-red interior.

You'd be mental to drop £20k on that.
Would be perfect for a YouTuber to grab. I’d love to see someone like AutoAlex do a series on it.

Behold, the in budget S8 V10. It can't be as good as the others, however, as the seller hasn't invoked the apocryphal origins of the engine as being a Lambo lump.

It seems to have fallow periods but has just done ~15,000 miles between MOTs

Ask any pharmacist.....DHC on the number plate stands for DiHydroCodeine, a major pain killer that also causes constipation.
It is an expression of the impending effects on your finances.

I'm not sure 'wonderful' is a sufficient word to describe the photo or the mind behind it but £1500 to be a part of that looks like value to me.

I imagine it would have more of a laxative effect!!!

S8 bingo must include both mention of the ‘Lambo’ engine and Ronin. It’s the law.

Amazing spot!

As I still have a MD deck as part of my home system I’d love to play them in the car once more - it’d be like 1997 again!

I put one in my X300 and I was very sad when the player, which I've owned since the mid 90s, started to fail. It was only with reluctance that I didn't hunt down a period correct unit to go in my DB7, but I must admit that the sheer belligerence of using them in 2016 was somewhat inconvenient.

I have maybe 1,000 discs with stuff recorded on at home and still use them, unlike my large collection of laserdiscs hehe

You're mixing your S8 models with this bingo interpretation, I'm afraid.

It's a dire ad, mentioning almost nothing about this particular car. I'd want some info that actually pertains to the advertised car rather than generic slop. Seriously, is "The electronic tyre pressure monitoring system adds an extra layer of safety and convenience for your journeys" a selling point ???

That said, a D3 S8 for £5K in running condition is just a bit tempting. Something must be on the verge of generating a whopping bill for it to be priced as such. GOL, get it bought!

O/T

You and I are clearly similarly afflicted by more than simply barges; a couple of times a year I’ll make a point of listening to several MDs from my collection and it’s just a lovely bit of nostalgia with many of my discs being compilations which give some insight into my musical tastes at the time. There’s a lot of interesting juxtaposition as well as mixing eras of the same genre (Stones, Gun, Metallica, Zeppelin etc all fading out/in to each other, for example).

I once had about 50 films on Laserdisc but stupidly sold almost all of them many years ago - I have hung onto my Star Wars collection and a few others that are considered rare or collectible. I suspect they may fetch a fiver on eBay!

To me, both MD and LD are superlative formats in period and I mourn them now falling into almost forgotten history.

Can anyone give me a pointer on where to get windscreen wipers for a W212 E class please? I had a look on Tanya batteries as they looked good value but the don't have the right ones.
Is it simply Eurocarparts or is there a sneaky place to get Bosch ones?
MB want £50 something for three wipers...

Many thanks
