I had Speedline wheels in that style on my XJR-S and they were VERY HEAVY. I read Ian Callum saying that people in TWR loved the full face design for the XJR-S but weren't happy with the weight, hence the plastic frisbee trims for the DB7 so you could get the same effect without using 10KG of aluminium per corner.

Not so - the alloys were also offered on the saloon. I don’t know if these ones were original fitment or not but they are still correct from an OEM perspective. I must admit I like them and they are reminiscent of the XJ220/XJR wheels that are some of my very favourite.

Impressed if it’s sold already. Must agree that I keep a close eye on H&T stock and it seems consistently good and fairly priced. If it counts for anything the chap that runs it is well quoted by Chris Harris and his podcast friends.

I’m with W00DY on the big Bentley as a backup choice - what a supreme barge those cars are in every sense!

Interesting on the wheels, never seen them on a saloon before. Agree re the Bentley and the stock pricing in general.

That’s my old car. I had it for 5 years and sold it 6 months ago for less than that. It’s not as clean as that ad looks but I fixed all the big stuff. If anyone is curious I’ll give you the lowdown.

It’s a good car. I replaced all of the airmatic stuff with parts from Meissler. Plus gearbox service and valve covers etc. The tailgate has a small rust spot plus both rear arches need love.
I only sold it as an E55 estate popped up locally.

Yep. It came to me with an Elegance bumper and
I fitted the correct Avantgarde one.
It also had cheap aftermarket headlights which I swapped for used genuine ones as they wouldn t level correctly. It had been hit front and rear at low speed and the rear bumper still had an iffy respray. It also will still smell of my dog .
Those wheels came on my abused e55 and are all bent. Negotiate accordingly.

I saw that it was an auto-gearbox - It's just that something so obvious being mis-described sets my BS alarm off for the rest of the advert.
Also - Did it originally have headlamp wipers that have been removed, and the holes blanked off?
