Clearly a remake is well overdue.
Father Ted did it.

I can see it now, the next summer blockbuster coming so a cinema near you:

EVengers Vs Decepticons
It's funny that you think there is a 'good' side to this idiocy.
While not necessarily a good vs bad. There is a definitely a truth/facts Vs fantasy tendancy to this thread.

One group has personal experience of both sides of the coin. The other group is still in denial that the coin has 2 sides.

Indeed, sums up thousands of repetitive, boiler plate troll like posts.

The coin isn't flat, it's a sphere with no sides!

I jest, not all of us are like that I swear. Some of us are just aware change needs a little more, well ... change, to become the norm.

Watched a clip from someone I think called EVcarguy targetting Geoff Buys Cars and going full froth about him. Ironic in that both are the polar extremes and somewhere in the middle lies the truth.

all about clicks from whichever 'tribe' you're gunning for.

try electric vehicle man. calls it exactly how he sees it, but that's probably why his channel doesn't have millions of subs. has regrets about his solar installation, will call our shortcomings in cars he tests, and laud them where appropriate, admits the charging infrastructure is only 'getting there', etc.

Lithium ion (being transported) fire on the M3 today, been burning since 0500 rofl

"The #M3 eastbound between J4 #Farnborough & J3 #Woking remains closed as @SurreyFRS continue tackling the lorry fire involving lithium batteries. This is a complex process expected to take several hours while cargo is removed safely."

Somebody will be along in a moment to tell you it was the diesel engine of the transporter that caused it or that it was stuck in traffic and the range rover next to it caught fire and spread to the ions.

"The burning trailer contained mixed electrical waste including lithium batteries, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said, which was "increasing the complexity of the situation"."

What's this got to do with electric cars?

Something to do with lithium batteries being deadly, despite carrying one around next to your balls all day.

I was stuck in the road closure from 0530 to 0915 ish. The trailer was literally stuffed to the roof with electrical waste. It was put out once but reignited. I was about 1.5 miles back. In the spirit of this being an EV thread, there was a nice BMW i4 near me during that time but I can confirm it was in no way responsible.

Not sure the funny thing about a fire and fire fighters having to risk their lives to put it out.
