I will once it's out of storage in the summer.
I can't wait to get in it again to be totally honest, and I've really missed it.

Storage usually indicates it's off-site somewhere.

Both my 370 and Caterham are off site and in storage currently, and they have been since last July,, because I've had an extension done over the garage, so I didn't have anywhere to put them. The storage has cost me an arm and a leg for both of them to be honest as well.
What sort of costs are we talking about? Possibility I might have to move mine at some point.

Fair enough then.

Not terrible, but it soon mounts up when they've been in storage since last July though.

The problem I've got...is the 370 usually sits on that side of the garage though, so there isn't a cat in hells chance that I'm leaving that outside for an electric car to go in my garage as it's replacement! I see electric cars just as white goods rightly or wrongly if you know what I mean, and they're not something that pull at your heart strings for example.
However, once we've both retired, I can't see us being able to afford(or actually need) 4 cars anyway, so the door could open up in the future for an electric car perhaps eventually though.
It'll mean the Z4 will return to its weekend / second fun car duties, rather than the inter country commute its enduring currently.
Opens the door to replace the C43 with a heavy duty toy too.

£45 a week for each car Steve, and I have to pay up front.

Ouch. I suppose it would only be a couple of weeks at worst. Not terrible, but it soon mounts up when they've been in storage since last July though.
I guess you don't have extentions done everyday though...thankfully!

I'm also paying for a storage container every month for all the crap the was in the garage too!

Neither are coming out of storage until May as well, because the plan is to have all the drive done too while we're at it with the extention. So it's turning into a bit of a long and expensive road really.

I'm thinking of getting the driveway redone at some point, and not sure I would want to park them on the road or in the pub car park for the duration.I guess you don't have extentions done everyday though...thankfully!

Saw a car fire on motorway today. Thought I best report it on here as it was an ICE pickup of some sort.
It happens a lot compared to EV fires. How Many Electric Car Fires Are There in the UK Every Year? Electric vehicle fire incidents are rising, but remain rare compared to the overall number of EVs on UK roads. In the 2022–2023 fiscal year, 390 electric car fires were linked to the vehicle's battery. That averaged about 20 incidents per month.
With the above in mind I'm pretty sure they have dropped per month since then due to advanced battery tech.

I've got this in my garage now, so I'm now well prepared for when I need my balls chopping off and I have get an electric car!

This reminds me of something.
When the M20 was built in the 1960s, junction 5 included a bridge across the future planned section from junction 3 to 5.
When they came to build that, the bridge wasn't big enough, so it was demolished!

Important fleet news relevant to thread.
I stopped listening after the first minute when he started talking about the balloon payment on a lease agreement. "the leasing company suffers the loss now if the car is worth less than the balloon payment, but that unsustainable so it will be us paying it as the government always bails the banks out"
