At what point will you give up on this chicken littling?

When EVs are 10% of the cars on the road and all this doom-mongering patently fails to materialise? 25%? 50%? 80%?

Or will you still be here, posting increasingly unhinged videos from weird guys whose wives have ran off with EV drivers and by god are they mad about it?

Well, we should be at 10% by mid ‘28, so not too long to find out if that milestone does the job. Having said that, you’d have thought hitting 5% of all cars in the UK being EV at the back end of last year would have been enough to show that transition was unstoppable scratchchin

Wouldn't the realisation that it's unstoppable make things even worse for the terminally resistant to change?

I can't see many wives running off with EV drivers though to be fair, because you have to have your balls chopped off before you're allowed to drive an EV I believe. winkbiggrin

But....but..Stellantis are bringing diesels back !! woohoowobble

Meanwhile....non electric registrations are falling off a cliff across Europe
Europe diesel registrations is just 9%, shown in black in 2025, and dropping every month. Not really a segment worth going back to, let alone pinning the future hopes of a business on.

I suspect Barrie Crampton's wife probably just found that an electrical device "moved" her in ways that Barrie's conventionally powered offering didn't.

Bazza's twitter feed is entertaining - he should be on PH if he is not already.

Do you need a special Youtube sub to find all these frothers? I never see them.

I've just paid 4 quid for a costa coffee when I could have helped save the starving millions. Says a lot about me.

That silent running is probably pretty useful in making a quiet getaway via the back door after giving Barry's wife a good seeing to hehe

You selfish brute; why haven't you divested everything and fed the starving? wobble Why do I suspect Barrie does not tithe his income to the salvation army? hehe

Barrie blocked me on 'X' about a year ago.

These days I really try to ignore the anti-EV BS which goes on in the background. Let the frothers, froth - it's changing nothing !

My Dad could've done with one years back when he used to give my babysitter a good seeing too on the side as well, rather than having a noisy 5.0 V8 Mustang in comparison I reckon! hehe

He did leave us for the babysitter in the end though, and they're still together in fairness.

Perhaps if 'starving people' is an issue close to Barrie's heart, then I suggest he pivots from publishing EV BS, to supporting this group with content which could make an actual difference to peoples lives.

Mumbling for 15 minutes about an EV battery report is achieving nothing

I expect Barrie is the sort who screams "WE SHOULD LOOK AFTER ARE (sic) OWN FIRST" when reading false narratives about immigrants and benefits in the Sun, just before ranting about indigenous lazy workshy layabouts on benefits getting flat screen TVs.

Best ignored.

It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure reading this kind of ste. But I’ve managed to resist watching Bazza’s latest YT ranting so far. Is it a good watch?

Irrespective of their position on EVs, anyone finding themselves habitually watching Barrie should consider themselves a moron of the very first order, and immediately recuse themselves from any and all decision-making responsibilities that their loved-ones, carers, or (less likely) employer has permitted them.
