A 100hp Spring on some proper lightweight alloys, proper tyres and decent suspension actually really appeals.

Sub 10s to 60, under a ton. I bet you could have a lot of fun in one.

How can a SOH be more than 100%?

Not sure but this is what they have advertised on their car advert.

Confirmed, no you can’t buy the car at the end of the term.

I do like the idea of buying a 2nd hand one of the Performance models from Tesla tbh, only thing is the battery be year warranty on the ones I’ve seen from Tesla, I’d be more comfortable if they offered a two year deal.

Tesla’s come with full 4 year warranty from new and if buying direct from Tesla in their used scheme Certified Pre Owned (CPO) scheme then they add an extra years warranty onto that, so say if you buy a 2 year old CPO it will then have 3 years full warranty.
Separate to that is the Battery/Motor warranty which is for 8 years from new.

They should make a mini camper version, a "Bed Spring".

If they made one for carrying chickens (or Throttlebody/easybird/badger) it would be a cockspring biggrin

Just make sure to buy it direct from Dacia and not some dodgy back street geyser.

Rumour has it that Teslas keep some unused cells / modules, and patch them in as the battery starts to degrade, so maintaining a supposed 100%.
Looks like it's just released one of the cells into usage.

Small battery and 30kW maximum charging speed would kill the Spring for long range use for me.
Thats not what its designed for though.
Quite so. Horses for courses. I'd like a little bit better long range capability even in a local runabout, but for a lot of people this is perfectly adequate.

Or the reference data for what capacity would be 100% is wrong.

Or the margin for error in their measurements is larger than the degradation in the battery.

Belligerently sticking to my theme through the banter.

Tried to get AI to knock up a render, god they're hard work. CGPT was useless, I assume they want to direct you to their paid version. It kept showing a Sandero, no matter what prompts I used.

Gemini did a little better. I reckon you could do something like that for about £17k all in.

I'm charge mine at 3.49p/KW and sell my solar for 12p/KW.
Since my solar was installed last Feb, the total solar has covered all my electricity, gas and car charging costs.

You’re right, but better still to sell it Ed Milliband during the day at 12p, and then buy it back from him tonight for 5p.
