Very tempted with the Passat deal. My Audi goes back March and I when I enquired about them in December they wanted to deliver them by end of December and I didn't wanna pay any early exit fee. But they seem to still have stock at present by the looks of it? Does this black edition replace the old top spec R line? I can't work it out.

Black Edition replaced the R-Line at the back end of 2025. There's loads more spec such as:

Pan Roof
Larger 15" Screen
19" Wheels
Heads up Display
Winter Pack which has heated rear seats
Assistance pack (360° camera)
Free metallic paint apart from two-tone and pearl paints.

Not sure if that’s very clear but £50 charge for a missed service at the end of the lease. I just never bothered with my last two VWFS leases.

That’s very interesting, yeah I wouldn’t bother either!

That makes sense and I've considered it myself before now. I just wondered where I'd stand if I hadn't been servicing it per recommendations and the gearbox goes bang - any ideas?

Nice one cheers. I have contacted them and will await a reply. The diabase grey that somebody mentioned looks very nice.

My Passat is in diabase grey and it is a nice colour.
If I bothered changing to a black edition next year I'd probably go for the red or white if available.

I just finalised an order for diabase grey Volkswagen Passat 1.5 TSI eHybrid Black Edition 5dr DSG from Dreamlease.

1+35 @ £331pm with no other fees and 5k miles.

I ve got a Cupra Leon estate that was due back in July, but I m returning it early and swallowing the 40% penalty. It s by a country mile the worst car I ve ever had the misfortune of owning .

I didn't enquire, so does anyone know how much extra the maintenance is?

I asked a VW dealer about a service plan, and a 24?month package with two services and a pollen filter came to £23 a month. To be fair, I did well with the Cupra as its service plan was only £99 in total.
Maintenance is approx £21/month - anyone know if that sounds any good?
Cheaper than mine, but only because of fewer miles and a shorter term.
You might need front tyres and one service, but you may just skip the first service if on long-life or you may have to do it if doing short trips.
For the peace of mind, I'd probably take it for the £21pm.
Go careful on the maintainance with VW as they will move you from long-life to interval servicing, so (I think) 10k miles or 12 months. I looked at it for a leased t-roc mid term and it wasn't cost effective (obviously your mileage may vary!)

The 1+35 on the black edition looks great, but bumping up the mileage to 10k adds another £100 or so a month. What quote have you got on excess miles?

They told me earliest availability is around three weeks from now, so early February. I ve postponed mine until March to minimise the cost of ending my current lease early, although I m still tempted to contact them and get it ASAP and take the extra hit.
I was hoping to take delivery this Friday but it's been pushed out by 2 weeks, bit of a pain as my previous car lease has ended.

Looks decent on 3+17 10k miles. Around 18% of list price.

Looks slow though.

Excess mileage inc vat is 17.28 pence per mile which is quite steep. I worked out I can do just over 800 extra miles per year on 5k deal to be paying the same as a 6k deal. It's not likely I will go over though as I probably only hit around 4k per year (my Cupra is under 10k for 2.5 years), but the lowest available option is 5k py. Also my wife has a Toyota corolla with around 7 pence excess milage so if needed we will just hammer that.

That's a disappointingly monochrome set of options

I enquired late this afternoon and was told the colour choices are black, white, grey or silver. So even less colourful! Although the grey does look quite smart.

I've been away from leasing for a couple of years (I'm sad to see glory days of a seat leon cupra petrol for £200 per month are well and truly gone! ). I'm a bit out of touch with current prices so wondering if anyone that has been keeping an eye on the market can tell me this current Tesla model 3 personal lease is any good (direct with Tesla)? I cant seem to find any historic Tesla lease data ... didn't lease loco use to display a graph with historic lease data?

Tesla model 3 standard RWD
2 year term
12,000 miles
12 month deposit (£3,658)
£288 PM inc VAT
Total payable £10,575
excess mileage 16.5 plus VAT

thanks in advance!
That's £440 a month amortised, which I don't think is too bad at all.

I've had the long range version since last Feb at £485 a month (3 year term, 1 month initial payment, 12,000 miles, metallic blue, direct from Tesla). It's a great car to drive, and the only real gripes are the absence of indicator stalks and physical buttons.

Tesla are currently offering £3,750 trade-in bonus, so you could in theory buy a £500 banger and get a net circa £3k off (once you account for a few weeks VED and insurance). Not sure if this is only PCP rather than lease, but might be worth checking.

I took delivery of my Passport Black Edition today (1+23, 10k). The next service is due in 723 days or 20k miles, so if you're going for a 3 year deal if you delay the first service due after 2 years them it won't be due a second until after handing

I noticed this when going through some of the charges for my Leon, had I of known I wouldn't of bothered paying for the £200 service.

Some of the charges are actually very reasonable. I had an Abarth 500 on lease before, big crease in the drivers door. Garages were quote in excess of £400 to fix, the max penalty I could be charged on the lease return was £150/panel. Sometimes you're better off just not bothering.

Where did you see the trade in bonus.
