Couple of quick questions, as track activity is at Brands will there be any noise limit and will we need skid lids?
Excellent! Nope no noise limit for us. The 750 Motor Club are racing on the Indy circuit on the 13th so I expect that'll drown out our activity.

And helmets are not required but are optional if you want to wear them.

For those of you following this thread, we've updated the article with the details on our new PH Points scheme for the Sporting Tours this year.

To celebrate the new additions to our calendar, we're launching PH Points, which will be earned at each Sporting Tour this year. And points mean prizes for you and your co-driver. For each event you attend in 2019 you'll be awarded 10 PH Points, which will get you the following:

10 PH Points - two mugs
20 PH Points - two t-shirts
30 PH Points - two hoodies

We'll issue a card to each competitor, which will get stamped as you earn you points at each event so you can get your freebies thumbup

If there aren't at least 80 entrants, is the event likely to be cancelled? And, if it is, will the organisers refund in full those who have paid or just credit towards another event?

Hi Ben,

Do you have any, even basic, details, as I really want to do the one ‘up north’, but have an event on the Sunday that I can’t get out of, so would be great to know where it’s based.

And you do know that Oulton is in Cheshire don’t you??

Brands is just too far at the moment.

Has any thought been given to anything this far west, using Ty Croes circuit???? Great roads in north wales.......

I would also love a PH-only trackday at Anglesey... although the date at Oulton in September sounds promising, not sure if that is limited to PH though.

I'll check with Tony and let you know. I know the start and finish is Derbyshire so I would assume starting in the Peaks, heading to Oulton Park and then back on a different route.

And we might be working on an event not already listed in Wales...

Signed up last night. Did the inaugural event in Suffolk last year and had a really good day out. Hopefully it will be a lovely sunny day like last time. My son is co-driving again. Looking forward to the route and auto tests as it sounds like the organisers have taken on board the feedback from last time.

First car leaves at 10:01 and each subsequent car (according to your entry number), departs at one minute intervals after that. You need to arrive one hour before your start time to collect welcome pack, sign forms etc.

What he said! biggrin Full details are in the competitor bulletin, which you should have received from GT Motorsports Club. Let me know if you haven't got it and can forward over for you.

Good morning all

My navigator has changed from when I entered the event; do I need to tell anyone beforehand?

I have updated the wiki with his name, but wasn't sure if you'd need anything else before the day?

Thanks

I think it would probably be a good idea to update your entry on the GT website with the correct details, but other than that I doubt you need to do anything.

Also, the weather is looking friendly, our car has passed it's MOT, I'm looking forward to this.

Sorry for the delay – as per Norbury's message, you can edit your entry on the GT Motorsport Club site but it's not as important for co-driver so don't worry too much.
