Sorry for the delay. I've driven lots of them and they're quite good, but not brilliant. Well made, good standard kit, nice stereo etc., but compared to a Prius they fall well behind, IMO.
The Prius is quieter, better-handling (much!) and significantly more economical under the same conditions; gearbox is better, too (although the Prius, technically, doesn't have a gearbox...). The Ioniq may be a tad quicker than the Prius, or it may just feel that way - not sure, it's marginal at best. Ioniq looks less 'radical' than a Prius and this has been taken as a plus by many people.

I've got one on hire at the minute whilst my usual car has been recalled. I'm pleasantly surprised by it, it drives well, a bit too much road noise for my liking but is averaging 67 MPG (brim to brim, computer says 72 MPG). I could easily get another 5 MPG out of it but I like to 'make progress'.

I could never own a new Prius. Just look at the state of it. One of the most horrific looking cars ever designed. And the interior is terrible too with it's offset info screen.
