Hi All,

I picked up a used November 2018 1.6TGDI couple of Saturdays ago. I’ve posted about a couple of things in general gassing in regards to this but wanted to ask specifically to anyone that has a similar setup to mine as I’m having a niggle with the slightest of vibrations/toughness maybe even just road rumble coming back through the clutch and brake pedals when my foot is lightly touching the pedals. There’s only 3200 miles on it so definitely would have expected a smoother ride. In saying that there’s no vibration/roughness in the accelerator or the steering wheel and if not touching the clutch or brake the ride is great.

At first I thought it just needed a run but it’s got to the point whereby I think it might be something more and so next stop will be back to the dealer to see what can be done.

Question to any 1.6 turbo owners... Have you experienced any vibration/roughness in the brake or clutch pedals at all? As I say it’s ever so slight but still not what I would expect from a relatively new car.

Appreciate any comments or feedback on this.

Thanks!

p.s. incase it makes any difference, it’s the premium trim with 18” alloys. ABS, EBD, autonomous emergency braking, electric handbrake and I’m sure a whole lot more I don’t even know about...
