Interesting, by that do you think some orders will get filled within the 12 week timeframe?

That is the GT line dash board, only the centre 4.3” is a screen, the speed and tachometer are just 7 segment displays where on the ‘3’ upwards the whole 12.3” is a screen.

ok, I see the difference. Thanks for posting this comparison.

I've been given an estimated arrival date of 27th of May (ordered on 2nd March).
Only need the car in November so in no rush.

A dealer yesterday mentioned that Kia UK were prioritising sales through the dealer network and lead times for lease companies would be longer.

I then spoke to a couple of lease companies and they did say they could be looking at AUG/SEP delivery but can't be sure !

For anyone on the fence with this deal, the prices have just gone up. I was about to push the button on it with Jet finance and the price went up 30 quid overnight with them. The good news is Rivervale were able to honour the old price as they knew it was coming and saved some quotes, which they are still able to honour. They dont know for how long though. I ended up with 3+35 at 274.55 with experience green, 5k miles (they have quotes saved at 5k, 8k, 10k and a few others I think, all with 3 months up front I believe. Not quite as cheap as it was with Jet but no admin fee with Rivervale so overall only a few quid in it. Estimating Sept delivery. Hope it helps someone!

What spec level was your quote for?

GT line HEV with added metallic. Would have been about 260 without metallic i think.

Well done for getting that price. I got a quote from them this afternoon but it's at the post-increase price. I was on the fence about the Sportage before, more so now.

Edit - my mistake, I forgot your quote was for 5k when comparing against my 10k quote. They've still got the pre-increase prices. I've hopped down of the fence so you can call me an eejit.

I've got an offer ready to sign for a Sportage GT-Line HEV in Infra Red on a 1+35 @ £315 a month. Quoting me a 24 week delivery time (which is fine as current lease runs until November!).

It's not quite as good as the deals before, but in the current climate with lead times and price increases I'm thinking of pulling the trigger.

Off to test drive one this afternoon before I do, but the dealer doesn't have anything in that colour / trim available to see. Anyone got experience of the Infra Red (silly to get hung up on a colour but red just isn't my cup of tea!).

How many miles is that quote for.

I really wasn’t bothered about having a red car but I actually really like it in the flesh. Would have had the blue if I had the choice but on a very tight budget so stuck with the red rather than another £16/month.

That was on a 10k per annum basis, excess mileage 11.64p. Nowt else out there in this price range right now.

I was fairly impressed with my test drive, cabin felt like a nice enough place to be for longer journeys. This was a fully loaded GT-Line S though, although I can’t imagine there’s a huge amount of difference.

Not a bad price for 10k miles.

Quite a few differences in the cabin between GT-line and S

Slightly different seats
No heated seats
No heated steering wheel
No ventilated seats
Only 4.2” digital dash rather than 12.3”
No LED ambient lighting
No panoramic sunroof
No electric adjustable seats
No premium audio system
No 360 camera
No blind spot view
No wireless phone charger

Thanks for that. Not much in the list that I’ll miss, rarely use the features of my digital cockpit in the current car so displays shouldn’t be an issue.

Saw the red on a Sorento at the dealership and thought it looked smart enough!

I ordered a new Sportage 2022 GT Line S the day they went on sale on 15.12.21, was told delivery would be immediately after launch late Feb or definitely March. At launch in mid Feb 22 delivery was confirmed as March. Having test driven a demo car at dealership in March I was then advised delivery would now be May. Last week call from dealer stated delivery moved to July and even that was not guaranteed.
Beyond a joke that a car company can launch a new vehicle with no stock and spend a fortune on TV advertising with no stock to back it up. Anyone else having similar issues?

I’ve had no updates other than the original estimate of late May early June for my GT-Line. No holding much hope though looking at current estimates for new orders.

YouTube seems to be the only place you'll see a red one. Another Irish review:

Despite the name, my current car is red. You get used to it biggrin

I saw one in the wild yesterday, going in the opposite direction so couldn't get a decent look but no dealer plates so must've been "real". At least they do exist.

For what it's worth, the car I ordered last week is meant to be at the dealer's 18th September. Allegedly.

I was parked 2 bays away from a GT Line S a couple of Saturdays back at the Westfield Centre, Shepherds Bush - the same spec that I have on order.

Anyone get an update on their order?

I ordered HEV 4 model from Leasing Options towards end of Jan with a delivery date for end of April. Spent the last 3 days chasing for an update and now been told that my delivery date has gone from 'April' to 'No Build'. They have now confirmed car is delayed but no clue until when?

Read on another group that this is impacting all HEV models and that anyone who placed an order btw Jan - Mach is looking at July. It seems leases and Brookers are more impacted than those who went direct via a Kia Dealer
