I provided advice and price guidance on this sale and was offered it before the ad went live. I was tempted - but decided to remain loyal to my one owner Nobby R077 biggrin

It's basically a "new" M12 GTO-3R and went for the asking price of £49.500! The first call came in 10 minutes after the advert went live - the caller hesitated and, on learning the outcome, is now regretting it. The lucky new owner called less than 20 hours later and bought the car on the phone - without any price haggling - sight unseen.

So that's depreciation around only £3-4K off what it cost 14 years ago! FYI: I canvassed a couple of Noble dealers in advance and both suggested a retail price below its sold price.

Anyway, as some of you know, for years I've been banging on that we own potentially £50-75K M12s. This can only be movement in the right direction and is great news for us owners - perhaps less so for buyers so get in quick wink

If anyone knows of a lower mileage car or a higher sold price please share the news.

I agree that £49500 is a stunning price but the £3-4000 depreciation you mention over 14 years doesn't take account of inflation.
£53000 in 2003 would be worth about £79000 in today's money so the true depreciation is nearer £30000.
Hopefully your hope of valuing M12s at nearer £75k comes true.

Also, my 3R was over £60k new.

Thats great news Rob, we talked about this @ Jetstream and I can't understand any Noble owner talking down the value of their car!!!!
There was a lovely M10 at the meet, what would that be worth it it had Porsche badge or the like on it???

For the look and the positive response the car gets from the public, it's hard to better!!! I stopped to get fuel and an old boy asked me about the car, Giles and I were then stopped by a guy in the service station who hasn't seen one in the flesh before, then when we stopped again for coffee on the way back, another fella was asking us about the car. They look unique and that holds value, they are also very quick and that also holds value, they also break and that drives us mad!!!! biggrin
