Unveiling is at 4AM GMT, it’ll annoy Ford if it takes the crown from the F150!

Quite excited to see what it looks like, Elon Musk has tweeted that it takes design cues from the amphibious Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me!

I suppose a generator can be stored on the flatbed to charge it once its gone flat in the great outdoors.

A low wedge shaped vehicle last thing that looks like a pickup. Going to be fun. Expectations sky high after the hype. Can they deliver ? That's my only pickup pun of the night ...

Live stream here.

Just started. Girl on stage looks like Hazel O'conner out of Breaking Glass.

It doesn't look like a truck, I wonder if this a joke and they will bring the real one on. It is not cyber punk either. The crowd is quiet.

500 miles EPA range in something that looks like it weighs 3ton+. Tesla must have some special battery sauce coming for this, the roadster and plaid S/X. 2021 isn't that far off.

The specs look good and the prices too if they can keep to them. The rear looks cleverly designed for putting stuff in. I believe it will only be sold in that "colour".

I didn’t think another Tesla thread would be a good thing, but that has made me laugh out loud. Truely awful.

I liked the armoured glass demonstration. Both pieces of glass were very effective at not breaking - up until the moment they were struck with something.

+1

outré came to mind

it's also two years from launch... too much could happen to upset cost and pricing
