"a little-known electric-truck startup that went public last week,"
"Shares of Nikola, which is developing commercial and passenger vehicles using batteries and hydrogen fuel cell technology, have more than doubled since they began trading publicly on Thursday.
The startup's market capitalization eclipsed $30 billion in intraday trading Tuesday, higher than Ford's value of about $28.8 billion and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV of about $20.5 billion."
Total sales so far?
ZERO
Can't say it any better than Rob in the other thread:"a little-known electric-truck startup that went public last week,"

You like it but it is far too big?
So it is great as long as you migrate to the USA.
This is me waving you off from the docks
Where'd you get that from? I like it and I could live with an American size truck quite happily here in the UK, but I meant the fact it's American sized means they're probably not considering the UK as a viable market, so a RHD version isn't looking likely at this point in time You like it but it is far too big?

I would need a new crumple zone for UK most likely? Musk did change the 3 wheel base for China so who knows, but I fear it's going to be a long wait. annodomini2 said:

Any ideas of when these actually go into production?
When they get gigafactory Texas online, US site says late 21 for US deliveries, unlikely to go on sale in the UK, too bigunless borris makesa raft of exemptions for 'light trucks' like the US has

It won't come to the UK as I doubt the market is big enough to justify making the right hand drive conversion. The safety regs may be passable with an external airbag.

Yes so when the idiot who bought one goes to do normal things, like shopping, parks up, then realised they have 40cm to get out, it then dawn's if them, they have bought something even Chris eubank would laugh at, they will silently cry.
I agree that it's too big for the old continent, but what makes you think that the people who would buy one aren't aware of the size? Anecdotal, I know two people that really want one, one is a craftsman who always drives a van or pick up, the other one just wants something big (for whatever reason). Both of them are aware that this American pickup is the size of an... American pickup?Gassing Station | Tesla | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
