Cybertruck LMFAO
Discussion
If you can cope with the "YouTuber" presentation, this video is doing the rounds:
They basically beat the st out of a Cybertruck and a Ford F150 to see how well they handle the abuse. It's all quite dumb and sensationalist but there are some interesting moments in it, particularly when they try and tow the Ford and it rips the back of the gigacasted chassis off!
This is after they've already given the car a battering however, so it's difficult to know what to make of it.
I also didn't know that if you slam the doors too hard on some Teslas - including the Cybertruck - the door falls to bits.

Even if you assume that all their abuse was shown on that video (unlikely), the major fail at around the 5:27 mark (which they've toned down by editing) is likely what snapped the back off the chassis (or at least led to structural cracking). They basically beat the st out of a Cybertruck and a Ford F150 to see how well they handle the abuse. Instead of revealing anything about the CT, this feels just like the infamous Top Gear Tesla Roadster episode.
The only good news? The comments are hilarious from people who think they're engineers whilst demonstrating no engineering knowledge whatsoever.
Whistlin Diesel somehow makes mindless vandalism quite watchable.
It's funnier when he's writing off new Ferrari's because people gey genuinely upset.
Back to the CT video it seemed that whatever the CT was good at the F150 was pretty bad and vice versa.
A F150 made out of SS and with about 800hp would be the ultimate truck.

The range extender battery pack that was supposed to get the Cybertruck to the 500 mile range they talked about won't get it to 500 miles, it'll go 470. https://www.thedrive.com/news/the-cybertrucks-rang...

Cybertruck. Now available with a machine gun mounted on the back! As seen being tested by that Chechen warlord, can’t be be bothered to type is name, has a stupid looking beard. AI generated image perhaps?

Presumably Tesla will know exactly who originally brought this car, and likely know where it is at any one time.

The red car is an Electromeccanica Solo, the grey car is a Coda.
None of these are classic so it didn't seem right for the 'Classics dwarfed by modern' thread.
