My understanding from some posts online previously is centre caps are fitted at the dealership so makes sense they attach the covers to the centre of the wheel.

Are you wanting to run a set for aero……
I went down to hang out with my mates who work at GR Garage here in NZ while they PDI'd my car. The centre caps for the wheels came in a plastic bag in the boot, as did the caps for the towing eye holes.

The alloys didn't come covered, however, that is because they're removed at the port here where Toyota have a sort of PDI PDI centre where they process the cars.

Interesting. That looks like it has the BBS wheels and mine has the Enkei wheels. Could it be that the wheels have their own type of cover?

Nice, didn’t think of other countries....is the 54k much over what you would pay for an order and wait or is the supply bigger than demand there? I would have thought they were popular there too.

The only thing i can say is that in my 17 years with Toyota, they have only come with the type in my photo.
I suspect it’s more to do with yours not being a UK car.

Did you just correct '32km' to '30km'? biggrin

Anyway, it's the '5km' one and it's wrong, I've seen the odometer.

ETA: Sorry Rod, I see what you mean, that the white one has 30km. No, it's not that one.

They don't seem to be lasting long when they get put up for sale. You've got a few to choose from in NSW at least!

there's a private seller on Autotrader trying to flip one near Dumfries, last time I looked it was still for sale and had been on a few weeks.

It's not a highly populated area so maybe not the best place to attempt to do this.

A friend of mine has a white circuit pack coming, he knows I wanted one and he kindly offered it to me for what he paid for it even though it arrives in the next few weeks and he could flip it. - very kind of him. He has a collection of cars and amazes me with his restraint, he can buy a car and have it delivered to a friend and not bother picking it up and driving it for months....I wouldn't sleep the nigh before if I was able to pick up a new to me Ferrari the next day! He would just order another GR and wait.

Just to add to the debate about if the allocation is done.

The chief Toyota marketing guy for central Europe yesterday said Poland is getting another 300 allocated to it on top of the 400 originally allocated last year.

Orders for the new allocation will start being taken from next month.

It would make sense to just keep taking the orders and delay the corolla or fire up another production line / other model delay? Unless they expect so sell millions more corollas?

I don't know much about it, but isnt the Corolla going to be just a tuned version of the standard car, like a Golf GTi, would it even need to be built on a bespoke production line for low volume models, rather than the main line for Corollas?

Has anyone NOT loved their GRY?
I've had mine 3 days now and 520 miles down, I've spent all my time half throttle hooning the Yorkshire Dales and all I can say is wow. It's better than I ever could imagine, I'm starting to believe the claims of it being developed as a rally car and then made road legal. The consistency and compliance is quite mind blowing, within 30 mins of picking it up I felt like I'd been driving it the past 2 years.

Probably depends on how much profit they are making, how much life there is in the tooling etc.

Am I the only person who can be dissuaded from a purchase by watching the company put out a video of some driving which is 'a bit sh*tty'?

Not sure but I read the limited numbers was due to the Corolla needing the production line.
