Yes I think the production run is done now. Mine now arrives in September and will likely be one of the last made.

Is there any way to see on the car how far into the 25,000 run your GRY is? Via VIN or some other serial number?
Last 5 digits of the VIN.

Might appeal to some:

I've had shirts from blipshift before; the heavy duty cotton ones are the best.

No affiliation.

Mine was meant to be Sept, after many, many delays, but the app is now saying it’s en route to Derby and then the dealer. Seems odd.

App ahead of itself or not been updated earlier in the process?

If your order number was a JS or even a JT one then it sounds about right. My JU order is on the boat and headed for the Suez canal, expected into the country in the middle of June.

Crashed GRYs update from Poland, seems black ones are scenery magnets...

THE SPORTY TOYOTA YARIS GR HAS HIT THE BUS STOP!

And you may recall a video I posted previously of the result of a GRY wiping out on the highway, the wreckage sold for 37,000 PLN, about 7k GBP....

Ah so I’m a JW order. So makes sense for Sep delivery. Wonder if they went to JZ?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a red UK-plated GR when I watch the recent 'ring videos on youtube!

You won’t spot anything, it’s the 24hr race so I’m over with a camper.

Some quick and easy upgrades to the GRY in this vid, particularly if you're partial to a track day or two...

I'am sure I've not been the only one contacted by Toyota to say the Yaris allocation has sold out for 2022, they went on to ask if I wanted to stay on the list for 2023, its wasn't mentioned if there were going to be any cars available.

Is Toyota building the Corolla on the Yaris line, if so it could be quite a while or never for more Yaris production, I'am pretty sure there will be high demand especially in the US and elsewhere for the new car.

I was told by my dealer here in Poland that ordering is finished, they are finishing building the outstanding orders, but there will not be any further opening of the order books for new orders and GRY production will finish.

Given the arrival of the GRC, I'd guess it's more likely true than not.

Yes i think the production run is now done ending with JZ orders.

Guess they want to keep a short list together of anyone who cancels their 2022 order. Unlikely but people may have changing circumstances.

I’m not sure they will make more given the Corolla will be built at the same plant.

They have removed the ‘wait list’ but yet you can still spec and save one. I’ve asked Toyota UK why but I haven’t had an answer

I heard from my dealer earlier this week. I was able to get a cancelled order for a red CP car just after Toyota closed the order books last June. Delivery was originally estimated for April, then October, and it's now due at the end of this month.

Inevitably its now going to arrive at a financially inopportune time as I'm unexpectedly buying a property, but I've decided to live on porridge and beans for a couple of years so I can enjoy the Yaris.

Hi,

I’m new to the YGR conversation but have watched and read with interest the posts and other media input for what on papers looks a great car.

I’m not in a rush to buy and understand Toyota will be opening a new order book for 2023 deliveries next month.

Would anyone know yet whether the ‘23 cars will be offered in the same spec and/or if there is any word on Toyota maybe offering a CP Lux model with the HUD, sensors and heated accessories as an option? I have read about the potential GRMN model which isn’t of interest.

Any insight whilst awaiting the new order book to open would be great to hear.

Thanks
