Someone go outside with a tape measure and report back!
It is 1805 with mirrors folded in, as my garage is 2000 wide entrance and I squeeze in no problem this way! As someone said when mirrors are folded in the car is no wider than those gorgeous arches.

I don’t recall the mirrors being particularly pronounced when extended, over 2m sounds a tad generous as that’s getting into full size car territory?

We’re going to need to start making spaces and garages bigger if even a small hot hatch has to fold it’s mirrors to get in one.

Thing is though, it's really not that small. I have a 182 and it completely dwarfs it.

Yes it’s quite wide with a low COG, part of the reason it grips so well

The roof on my new (2 month old) GR bubbled in the sun today. Has anyone else had this problem? The car has been PPF'd but the roof was left untouched. I have notified the dealer so I will see what they say.

We (Toyota dealer) have had one like this, it was sorted under warranty. The main problem is finding someone willing to fit the replacement wrap. It comes in a roof size box and is millimetre perfect in size, as it’s designed to be fitted at the factory during production, not afterwards.

Very few people are willing to fit it, as there’s absolutely no room for error. Most regular wrap specialists want the vinyl oversized, so they can then trim down.

(We’ve actually had 2, but 1 was transporter damage)

Interesting one that, as a dealer would you be open to getting the wrap removed and having it lacquered over as an alternative? Just curious as I've seen how good the forged carbon looks underneath and if it's such a pain to fit the wrap it would be something I'd consider if I was in that position.

A quick check confirms that the 1805 mm is the body width. With mirrors it's over 2 metres.
That surprises me. It certainly never felt that wide to me but the numbers can’t be argued with.
It’s a large car, wider than a Ferrari Testarossa, a longer wheelbase too!

It's short and relatively fat. Mine has just gone into semi-hibernation and it was just as tight getting into an 80s garage as the R230 Merc that will be subbing for it while the weather is nice. Only a couple of inches, if that, to the door frames either side of the extended mirrors, so closer than you'd like.

On a separate note I have a radar recall. Anyone else had that?

There's enough GR's for sale to gauge the asking price but has anyone recently tried to sell one to a dealer or had a P/X price on theirs? Just wondering what trade bids are like at the moment.

Just put my 21 plate circuit pack into WBAC and Motorway. It's very low mileage and about as close to new condition as you can get. Not one stone chip. Came up with £31K and £32K so depending on mileage and condition I'd expect trade would pay anything between £27K and £35K.

That's interesting, thanks. Still very strong money then.

Has anyone here used one of the seat lowering kits ? Am wondering if to try one of those or replace the seats with aftermarket’s

V much liked the folding carbon buckets in the 991s a more comfy and look a lot better imo I don’t love the OEM GR seats and want to keep reasonable access to the rear

I sold my June 2022 CP car in Feb '23 to trade via Motorway for £33,000
At the time Motorway said it was worth £33,200
Autotrader Private sale £34,500
WBAC - £32,400
(AVG - £33,600)

Just reran the numbers
AT - £32,670
Motorway - £32,762
WBAC - £30,565
(AVG - £31,999)

If you are looking to sell, my strong recommendation would be to stick it on Motorway and accept a little less than the suggested reserve. I found the majority of private potential buyers wanted to pay less than trade – Motorway was a joy to deal with

Only for new orders which there were very few of as they were cancelled orders. There was also a price rise just before that.
