I absolutely love the GR, and have been tempted by one ever since they were released. I really need to get to a dealer and have a closer look around one.
What is the boot like on them? Big enough for a dog for the odd journey?
Seats down, one off while mrs defender was otherwise in use. What is the boot like on them? Big enough for a dog for the odd journey?
Check out that evil scratchy paw on the paint

Yes. Seats fold down and Lab has traveled a couple of times for about 20 miles when the disco was otherwise engaged. What is the boot like on them? Big enough for a dog for the odd journey?

Well, I just took a 4-man tent to Le Mans and back, with all the usual trimmings that demands. What is the boot like on them? Big enough for a dog for the odd journey?
750 mile round trip, two up. No problem

Please help me with my wider education - but....
I did used to forest rally etc. etc (in all sorts of cars); love Integrales etc. & used to own a new Impreza; but every time I examine a GR Yaris more closely, when at rest, 'fraid the answer always is 'no'.
Understand it's an awesome experience at the wheel, but for me a car has also to be something you look back at; after it's parked.
Whilst whatever's under the skin, no Yaris can win that effect. Just like my old (new) Impreza, whatever the driving experience, it's the overall aesthetic effect of the tinplate which really counts for me. And that's where it fails.
So please - kind members of the panel - just tell me why I'm wrong.
Answers invited on a postcard...
I've been on the fence whether to run my much delayed GR Yaris which will be 2 years+ to get delivered. Your post had to some extend helped me come to a decision and I've bought an Audi B7 RS4 which will be my daily for now as I should be more excited about this car than I am. I'm planning to take delivery of my GR Yaris in September ?? then put it on Motorway for a dealer to buy.I did used to forest rally etc. etc (in all sorts of cars); love Integrales etc. & used to own a new Impreza; but every time I examine a GR Yaris more closely, when at rest, 'fraid the answer always is 'no'.

Why not just cancel the order? Are they even selling for overs these days? ecsrobin said:

Just seen this. I reckon that it would be a proper giggle.

I like that, so cute but cool and fast, its a crazy but lovely mix :-)https://www.carscoops.com/2021/12/toyota-iq-conver...
How many left has been updated with Q4 sales.
4,401 circuit
183 convenience
153 standard
4,737 total.
There are some waiting on deliveries still but they keep getting pushed back (current estimates are September). Suspect we could end up closer to 5,000 cars in the UK overall at a guess.

I sold my GR last year due to the arrival of our second baby. I'd love to get back into one soon what's the market like for these? Is it impossible to get a new car?
You haven’t been able to order a new car since June/July 2021. There are very few cars being delivered now with the current estimate for the final car delivered around Christmas.
Still no news on if the 25,000th car will be the last or if a new run will happen. With production slowed right down and struggling to deliver the final orders I just can’t see another run happening.
Plenty of low mileage cars for sale out there.
