It looks really nice and is reasonably quick - with some fascinating tech!

But why no solar roof or moon roof for the UK?

It's very competitive isn't it, the C-HR plug-in starts at just over £39K, so they've priced it well i feel.

I think that for what you get, it's actually a bit of a bargain.

Has anyone seen one of these in the wild yet? Any real-world experiences?

I asked my local Toyota dealer about a showroom model/demonstrator and they were clueless.

I followed one over the Lecht pass in Aberdeenshire a few weeks back. It was fairly flying, I know the road well and had to concentrate to keep up with it. Actually wondered if it was a press car.

Not sure what Toyota are up to at the moment - lots of good cars but getting hold of them is another story!

I was at my Toyota dealership a couple of weeks ago and there was a customer collecting her new Prius while I was there. This one was in Juniper Blue and the first I've seen in the flesh. Have to say it left me with a bit of a 'meh' feeling in terms of its visual appeal. Front end looks quite nice but I wasn that struck by the side profile or rear. It's quite long too. Perhaps it's just that the Juniper Blue doesn't suit it as well as other colours in the range. Bet it drives nicely though.

Pedant mode on…

I’m sure it’s only available in Lunar Shadow (Solid Blue)

They aren’t actually available to order right now anyway, as the MY2025 is imminent

That might explain it

Any noteworthy changes in MY2025?

I’ll read the memo properly tomorrow, but I think it’s mainly enhancements to media/tech and geo-fencing, and an increased EV range.

Yes, thinking about it, the blue was a solid colour and not metallic. Didn’t suit the car anyhow, IMO.

Ooh, thanks. Would be interested to hear more. I am tempted, but would wait for a MY2025 if it's worth it.

Has anyone got one? I haven't seen any on UK roads but I'm currently in Switzerland and have seen a few. The Mustard Yellow looks cloud9

If there are any dealers on here - how are they selling and what is a typical lead time? Obviously I will talk to a few dealers, but any additional data points would be greatly appreciated.
